BALANCE OF POWER: Who will control the Washington State House and Senate in December?

Results for Special Legislative and Judicial Contests

Legislative positions are normally voted on in even numbered years, but five districts in Washington had vacancies prior to the filing period this year. As a consequence, three House and five Senate positions will be filled by voters this year. The winners will hold office through the remainder of the cycle, ending at the conclusion of 2018. Be aware that these are unofficial results and will change as ballots continue to be counted.
Data is provided by the Secretary of State and county elections officials.
