22 – THE FIGHT TO STOP VETERAN SUICIDE

22 U.S. Veterans are committing suicide every day. And that’s just the official number. We believe the number is 24-25 Veterans a day. That's more than 9,000 former service members each year lost to suicide. The National Veterans Foundation is dedicated to eliminating veteran suicides through vet-to-vet crisis counseling and other assistance to successfully reintegrate back to civilian life.

HELPING OUR WOMEN VETERANS THRIVE

Women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces are the most overlooked group of veterans when it comes to military related trauma, sexual abuse, or suicides. National Veterans Foundation recently launched the Women’s Veteran Resource initiative in order to connect women veterans with the best tools and resources to help them transition to civilian life after leaving the military.

JOBS FOR VETERANS

Employment is one of the cornerstones of reintegrating back to the civilian world. If you are looking for work, the National Veterans Foundation has partnered with businesses throughout the U.S. who understand how valuable veteran experience is. Our veteran friendly job listings are sortable by state.
