    WOW. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was accused of "groping" a young female reporter on assignment in August 2000. "Like father, like son" reads the editorial.

    Here is a slightly better quality image of an editorial in the August 14, 2000 Creston Valley Advance, a local B.C. paper, which claims Justin Trudeau apologized for "inappropriately handling" (or "groping" in the paper's words) a female reporter.

    Important to note, as many experts have pointed out: terrorism and mental illness are not mutually exclusive. Jihadists groups like ISIS have a history of recruiting people with mental problems and encouraging them to carry out terrorist attacks.

    Toronto Police/SUI have lost control of this story. So many reports quote unnamed "police sources" Who is it? Are they credible? Is the claim verified? This is a failure in communication. Why not tell the public what's going on? Why let anonymous sources lead the conversation?

    Um, there's also no evidence he was mentally ill to the point of deadly violence, which is extremely rare for people who are mentally ill, other than the word of a professional activist speaking on behalf of the family. So there's that.

    Excellent thread by the world's top journalist studying ISIS. The Islamic State claims responsibility for attacks it directly carries out, as well as attacks carried out by those who follow their calls. This is a point that seems to be lost on many journalists in Canada.

    1. The Islamic State has issued a bulletin on its Amaq News Agency, claiming responsibility for the attack in Toronto which left two dead. The shooter is described as “a soldier of the Islamic State” & they say he responded to “the call” to target citizens of Coalition countries

    My favourite part of 's scoop is when the spin dr. scolds the Sun for publishing intel from police sources, stating it's "incredibly irresponsible." Amusing to watch someone have a temper tantrum & try to dictate news coverage. Sad these tactics sometimes work.

    Trudeau, Butts, McKenna -- they have unlimited rage towards lawful, peaceful Canadian critics like us. But they never seem to express rage against Muslim terrorist attacks. That doesn't seem psychologically normal. And it's politically revealing.

    This is a Minister of the Crown in Alberta, picking a fight with a young man who just graduated from high school. For what? His tweets are totally innocuous. You’re the real bully, Minister. Shame on you.

    While the team claims civility, they bait, troll, smear & taunt relentlessly. Their young members are validated for this behaviour. This is what they’re teaching a new generation of conservatives, what their leadership calls effective engagement

    If you want to change how Canadians think about Islam, drafting a false statement and defending a murderous Jihadi is not the right way to go about it. Falsely claiming he had a mental illness is an insult to all the wonderful people that suffer from a degree of mental illness.

    The CBC knowingly misled the public about the Danforth shooter. The statement they claimed was from the shooter’s family was provided by a professional activist with a very political agenda. The CBC opted to hide that important fact & present the statement as legitimate. Liars.

    I have family members who live in West Vancouver. There are frequently black bears in their backyard, sometimes on their deck. The dad has a handgun to protect his wife and two young boys. These knee-jerk calls for a total gun ban are authoritarian & should be laughed at.

    There is no constitutional right to bear firearms in this country. They have no place in our cities at all. Even tougher gun control won't be popular in rural areas, but 82 percent of Canadians live in urban areas, and more than 1/3 live in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver alone.
