We're ready! There are still some spots on both buses, so even if you haven't registered, feel free to come to one of our bus pick up spots (at Sherbourne & Carlton or at St.George Station, Bedford exit) at 12:30pm. Buses leave at 1pm. We'll have shwarma and falafel wraps available for people. The rally location is also accessible by TTC. See you soon at Defeat Ford: Taking the Fight to Doug's Doorstep!

A pleasant 22 degrees awaits our arrival at Ford's campaign headquarters for the Defeat Ford: Taking the Fight to Doug's Doorstep rally tomorrow. While today's weather may not be as nice, it is the perfect day to sign up for the two buses we have reserved for the rally. One departs from Allan Gardens and the other from St.George station (Bedford exit). Sign up now!

Please register to reserve a seat on one of the two buses. You can get to the rally on the TTC, but it's nice to show up together. So if the pick up locations are on-route for you (or close enough), please sign up and come with us! Details about the action are on our website (http://ocap.ca/defeat-f...

The rally location is accessible by TTC, but it's great to show up together. So if these bus pick-up locations are on-route for you, please sign up for one of the buses! If you're from North Etobicoke, or it's easier for you to get there on your own, we'll see you there!

We have two buses June 2nd, one leaving from Allan Gardens (Sherbourne and Carlton), and another from just outside St. George subway station (Bedford exit). If ...these pick up locations are on-route for you, then please sign up here and come with us. If not, we'll see you there, the rally location is accessible by the TTC. #FightToWin!

Margaret's respite centre in the Toronto Downtown East is closing its doors from today until next Tuesday, from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM. Despite the City's commitment to operate these centres 24 hours a day, seven days a week, these homeless people are sitting out in the rain today with all their belongings and with no access to toilet facilities. Alternative space must be found for them immediately.

The upcoming June provincial election could put Doug Ford in power. If that happens, attacks on poor and working class people will escalate sharply. Defeating his aggression is possible with planning, appropriate actions, and by drawing lessons from our past. Let's prepare now so that we can #FightToWin, no matter who takes power. Join us.
