This project supports the Sierra Leone Correctional Services (SLCS) implementing its Strategic Plan to improve life in correctional facilities, in accordance with Sierra Leonean law and its international human rights obligations.
Promoting Transparency in Sierra Leone’s Judiciary
This project helps judiciary and justice chain institutions to develop bail and sentencing regulations, to ensure adequate guidance for the Judges, Magistrates and legal practitioners in the dispensation of justice. It also supports the introduction of electronic criminal case management in Sierra Leone, enabling the judiciary to track court cases.
