RuPaul's Drag Race (season 7)
The seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race began airing on March 2, 2015. Returning judges include RuPaul and Michelle Visage, while the space previously occupied by Santino Rice has been filled by new additions Ross Mathews and Carson Kressley. Matthews and Kressley are only both present for the season premiere and will take turns sharing judging responsibilities. Shawn Morales, a member of the Pit Crew since the third season and Simon Sherry-Wood, a member in the sixth season, do not appear this season and were replaced by Bryce Eilenberg. Like the previous two seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race, the season featured 14 contestants competing for the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar", a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics and a cash prize of $100,000. The premiere of season, the show debuted with a live and same-day viewership of 350,000, a 20% increase from the previous season. On March 20, 2015, it was announced that LogoTV had given the series an early renewal for an eighth season. The winner of this season was Violet Chachki.

Kandy (Sinhalese: මහ නුවර Maha nuwara, pronounced [mahaˈnuʋərə]; Tamil: கண்டி, pronounced [ˈkaɳɖi]) is a major city in Sri Lanka, located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.
Etymology
The city and the region has been known by many different names and versions of those names. Some scholars suggest that the original name of Kandy was Katubulu Nuwara located near present Watapuluwa. However the more popular historical name is Senkadagala or Senkadagalapura, officially Senkadagala Siriwardhana Maha Nuwara (meaning 'great city of Senkadagala of growing resplendence'), generally shortened to 'Maha Nuwara'. According to folklore this name originated from one of the several possible sources. One being the city was named after a brahmin with the name Senkanda who lived in a cave near by, and another being a queen of Vikramabahu III was named Senkanda, and after a coloured stone named Senkadagala. The Kingdom of Kandy has also been known by various names. The English name Kandy, which originated during the colonial era, is derived from an anglicised version of the Sinhalese Kanda Uda Rata (meaning the land on the mountain) or Kanda Uda Pas Rata (the five counties/countries on the mountain). The Portuguese shortened this to "Candea", using the name for both the kingdom and its capital. In Sinhalese, Kandy is called Maha nuwara, meaning "Great City" or "Capital", although this is most often shortened to Nuwara.

Hemidactylus depressus, also known as Sri Lanka leaf-nosed gecko or Kandyan gecko, is a species of gecko endemic to island of Sri Lanka.
Head large with large granules, especially on snout. Mid-ventrals 36-40. Digits webbed at base. Lamellae under fourth toe counts 10-11. Tail depressed, with serrated lateral edges. Dorsum light brown to gray, with 4-5 dark transverse angular markings. A dark canthal stripe, edged with a pale one. Tail is with dark cross bars. Venter grayish-creamy.
A gecko endemic to Sri Lanka, found only from localities Kantale, Giritale, Mankulam, Alutnuwara, Hunugalla, Elkaduwa, Rattota, Gammaduwa, Kandy, Knuckles Mountain Range, Haragama, Wakwalla, Palatupana, Balangoda and Vanathavilluwa.
Arboreal species from the plains, found on trees, boulders and caves and sometimes enter houses. Diet comprises insects.
Lay 2 eggs at a time in rock crevices, tree holes, leaf litter between June–August. Hatchlings emerge during August and September.

Summary: I built a rock skipping robot with the help of my nieces and nephews to understand the perfect way to skip a rock. In the end we learned that 4 things matter most:
1) Rock angle of 20 degrees
2) Rock PATH angle of 20 degrees
3) Spin the rock as much as possible
4) Choose a rock that is flat on the bottom and as heavy as possible for you to still get to your max arm speed.

The Asian water monitor (Varanus salvator) is a large varanid lizard native to South and Southeast Asia. It is one of the most common monitor lizards in Asia, ranging from coastal northeast India, Sri Lanka, mainland Southeast Asia to Indonesian islands where it lives close to water. It is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. It was described by Laurenti in 1768 and is among the largest squamates in the world.
The Asian water monitor is also called Malayan water monitor, common water monitor, two-banded monitor, rice lizard, ring lizard, plain lizard, no-mark lizard and water monitor.
The local name in Sri Lanka is kabaragoya, denoting a subspecies with distinct morphological features.

RuPaul's Drag Race (season 7)
The seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race began airing on March 2, 2015. Returning judges include RuPaul and Michelle Visage, while the space previously occupied by Santino Rice has been filled by new additions Ross Mathews and Carson Kressley. Matthews and Kressley are only both present for the season premiere and will take turns sharing judging responsibilities. Shawn Morales, a member of the Pit Crew since the third season and Simon Sherry-Wood, a member in the sixth season, do not appear this season and were replaced by Bryce Eilenberg. Like the previous two seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race, the season featured 14 contestants competing for the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar", a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics and a cash prize of $100,000. The premiere of season, the show debuted with a live and same-day viewership of 350,000, a 20% increase from the previous season. On March 20, 2015, it was announced that LogoTV had given the series an early renewal for an eighth season. The winner of this season was Violet Chachki.
