Brothers Brad and Adam Morris bought a 5-ton truck on Craigslist to help with rescues in Houston.
The truck was nicknamed 'The Punisher' by its previous owner.
By Tuesday night, the brothers were in Houston, along with David Couch, their brother-in-law, to help pull people out of the floodwaters.
Along with their brother-in-law David Couch, The brothers worked with local law enforcement, driving through 5-foot-high water to rescue people and pets, including pit bulls, cats, parakeets and hedgehogs.
Asked about their motivation, Brad Morris said he couldn’t sit around just watching people suffer. “It’s that Texas pride, I guess.”

M939 Truck
The M939 Truck is a 5-ton 6×6 U.S. military heavy truck. Designed in the late 1970s to replace the M39 and M809 series of trucks, it has been in service ever since. The M939 evolved into its own family of cargo trucks, prime movers, and recovery vehicles, with about 32,000 in all produced.
Specifications
All models of the M939 share a common basic chassis, cab, and hood/fenders. The basic truck is a 6×6 (three axles, six wheels, all of which are powered) medium truck. Early M939s were rebuilds of M809 vehicle chassis by AM General, with a new automatic transmission, cab, and hood/fender. Suffix –A2 are new production by Bowen-McLaughlin-York/BMY with later model Cummins engine. The vehicles have a wide variety of configurations and weights.
Note that the motor and tire specifications, along with other improvements, apply to the A2 versions (and A1 versions) of each base model listed below. There is an M928, an M928A1, and M928A2.
Engine
The M939 and M939A1 models use a Cummins NHC 250, a 855 cu in (14.0 L) naturally aspirated inline 6 cylinder diesel engine developing 240 hp (180 kW) at 2100 rpm and 685 lbf·ft (929 N·m) of torque at 1,500 rpm. This was the standard engine of the M809 series. The M939A2 models use a newer and smaller Cummins 6CTA8.3 504 cu in (8.3 L) turbocharged inline 6 cylinder diesel engine developing 240 hp (180 kW) at 2100 rpm and 745 lbf·ft (1,010 N·m) torque at 1,500 rpm.

This truck is sold, contact me if you want one just like it for 40K. Showing the wheel articulation of the high-mounted bed on my 1991 BMY 5 ton M931A2 truck custom quad cab / crew cab and custom short bed, will be on eBay soon. Only 8,300 miles, dual tanks hold 53 gallons each tank, 53in Michelin tires with power steering to turn them, 8.3l Cummins turbo diesel with Allison automatic transmission. Top speed is exactly 70mph and gets about 7mpg fuel efficiency. Can ford water all the way to the top of the cab. Hard top, cold weather heater and cold weather ether start, has a mounted spare wheel/tire and comes with 2 more tires in like new condition if you want to make a monster trailer to pull behind it. Also has onboard air compressors and all air tools and jacks to change a wheel/tire and also completely dismount a tire off the split rim and put it all back together in the field. This truck was bought from the U.S. Air Force; Nellis Air Force Base, NV; no rust anywhere. All time 4x4 in the rear and on-the-fly air toggle switch to engage into 6x6. No CDL required to drive (in Idaho at least) because it is titled as a recreational vehicle with pickup body type; Idaho title. Insurance is through Progressive and costs $450/year for liability only. This truck weighs about 29,000 lbs empty. The bed is 8ft wide and 9ft long with drop sides and also fold down troop seats. There are 3 seat belts in the front cab and 3 in the back. Entire hard top can be unbolted to make convertible and the windshield can fold down. -

The truck was nicknamed 'The Punisher' by its previous owner.
By Tuesday night, the brothers were in Houston, along with David Couch, their brother-in-law, to help pull people out of the floodwaters.
Along with their brother-in-law David Couch, The brothers worked with local law enforcement, driving through 5-foot-high water to rescue people and pets, including pit bulls, cats, parakeets and hedgehogs.
Asked about their motivation, Brad Morris said he couldn’t sit around just watching people suffer. “It’s that Texas pride, I guess.”

This truck is sold, contact me if you want one just like it for 40K. Showing the wheel articulation of the high-mounted bed on my 1991 BMY 5 ton M931A2 truck custom quad cab / crew cab and custom short bed, will be on eBay soon. Only 8,300 miles, dual tanks hold 53 gallons each tank, 53in Michelin tires with power steering to turn them, 8.3l Cummins turbo diesel with Allison automatic transmission. Top speed is exactly 70mph and gets about 7mpg fuel efficiency. Can ford water all the way to the top of the cab. Hard top, cold weather heater and cold weather ether start, has a mounted spare wheel/tire and comes with 2 more tires in like new condition if you want to make a monster trailer to pull behind it. Also has onboard air compressors and all air tools and jacks to change a wheel/tire and also completely dismount a tire off the split rim and put it all back together in the field. This truck was bought from the U.S. Air Force; Nellis Air Force Base, NV; no rust anywhere. All time 4x4 in the rear and on-the-fly air toggle switch to engage into 6x6. No CDL required to drive (in Idaho at least) because it is titled as a recreational vehicle with pickup body type; Idaho title. Insurance is through Progressive and costs $450/year for liability only. This truck weighs about 29,000 lbs empty. The bed is 8ft wide and 9ft long with drop sides and also fold down troop seats. There are 3 seat belts in the front cab and 3 in the back. Entire hard top can be unbolted to make convertible and the windshield can fold down.

Goodman 5 ton compressor replacement with a used compressor, I didn't want to
This is the AC unit I did a video on back on May 22, the condenser fan motor went bad and the compressor was tripping off on it's internal overload protector, I told the customer I didn't expect the compressor to last and he should buy a new condensing unit. Well it actually lasted 6 weeks and died. The customer made me put a used compressor he had on this unit, I told him it probably would last a week or two. As long as I get paid i'll do the work.

Breaking down my 14.00x20 tires to replace the rim gasket. Hand made silicone gaskets seal up one massive wheel. DO THIS WORK AT YOUR OWN RISK. **It is worth noting that despite two initial successes I have had 5 gaskets fail in a row now while inflating. I think it is the silicone brands I am using. They are running fairly slow here, but these Holt 5-Tons were designed as high speed all-terrain tractors for towing artillery pieces and supplies in the torn up battlefields of WW-1. Note the flexible suspension for cross country travel.

Firmę założyli ludzie, którzy wcześniej pracowali nad efektami specjalnymi w takich filmach jak Tron: Legacy czy 300. Wcielamy się w mężczyznę, który przeżył katastrofę samolotu pasażerskiego. Bohater budzi się przy wraku i, niczym Robinson Crusoe, stara się przetrwać budując schronienie i szukając pożywienia. Szybko jednak okazuje się, że rozbitek nie jest na wyspie sam, oprócz niego w dżungli kryje się plemię mutantów - kanibali. Tytułowy las jest w pełni dynamiczny - pogoda ciągle się zmienia, a rośliny rosną i więdną, do tego dochodzi cykl dobowy oraz symulacja przypływów i odpływów. Na wyspie umieszczono również rozległy system podziemnych jaskiń i łączących je tuneli, zaś gracz otrzymuje pełną swobodę eksplorowania świata. Istotną rolę odgrywają tu elementy survivalowe - musimy ścinać drzewa, aby uzyskać drewno na opał lub jako budulec schronienia, konieczne jest także szukanie pożywienia, polowanie na zwierzęta oraz uprawa roślin.

Project LSK5 is a 1978 K5 Blazer. The goal of this build is a budget-minded, street-able trail rig. Breaking down my 14.00x20 tires to replace the rim gasket. Hand made silicone gaskets seal up one massive wheel. DO THIS WORK AT YOUR OWN RISK.
**It is worth noting that despite two initial successes I have had 5 gaskets fail in a row now while inflating. I think it is the silicone brands I am using. More testing required. **
