Palolem Beach

See this TripWow and more at tripwow.tripadvisor.com Beach huts in Palolem "hey everyone, arrived in palolem yesterday afternoon. got on the local bus all the way down, very proud of ourselves! took about 4 hours in the end and less then 1.50 between us, extremely good value! palolem is very different again, feels like the scenery is constantly changing, guess thats the point of travelling! ohhh and we finally carried our backpacks by ourselves yesterday! wandered around for a couple of hours looking for somewhere to stay. we're trying to stick to our budget so had a look at quite a few, some very basic ones, then some very nice ones, but obviouslly over our budget. in the end we settled for the first one we came across, a very basic hut on the beach with shared bathroom. spent the rest of the day sitting in a cafe on the beach chatting to some canadian guys we meet. its extremely chilled out here and not much else to do but sit on the beach and watch the waves!the beach is much nicer than anjuna, whiter sands and clearier water but its pretty busy and there is a lot of restaurants and huts along the entire length of the beach. i imagine it was pretty stunning before it got taken over by tourists, shame really. back at the hut things werent so great. the power went out on us again, seems to happen whenever we arrive somewhere new! so had to wonder around in the dark with just <b>...</b>
