That bloke from 'Merzbow', and that screamy bloke from 'Masonna', get down and make some sublimely, or subliminally fucked up Noise Rock that could clear a room of music fans in 60 seconds or less.
That's always a recommendation.
Underneath the mind destroying wreckage this is as close to actual song based music these reprobates have ever sailed close to, without hitting the 'Rock' and sinking in that abysmally redundant category. This is what 'Rock' music should sound like.A decontructed power trio from an anti-universe,devastatingly LOUD and obnoxious, a sonically offensive musical bad trip. It preserves the processed noise onslaught that its individual members are famed for,but adds conventional instruments to the morass to reel in the casual metalhead before they burst into tears.
All topped off by that ridiculous band name.....nearly perfect.

This double cassette box set is the best place to collect the main perps of the japanese primal scream.
Its rather like listening to a platoon of Guiger-Muller tubes focusing in on ground zero at Hiroshima and Nagasaki immediately after the American Atrocities had fucked everything up forever. Accompanied by the screams of burning children as they are x-rayed onto the rubble.
If you want reminding what a Nuclear strike could feel like, listen to some of this stuff,by some ofthe most repressed people on the planet.Which is even more relevant today as we have an intellectual amoeba in the Whitehouse capable of giving as much thought to initiating a Nuclear war as he does to the economy he is just about to over-heat and send into recession.

Merzbow ‎– "Collection 001" (Lowest Music & Arts) 1981

Don't worry, this isn't the first of a hundred Merzbow tapes.I wouldn't do that to you!
But it does complete the Axis of Noise, after having done the Italian connection,with a smattering of Germans here and there;so logically,some Japanese noise is required.....also it allows a smooth segue into some other stuff from the sons of Nippon to follow like a Kamikaze attack on the senses; a divine wind of abstract noise if you will? 
This is very early Merzbow, so its more experimental sounding,and less reliant on brain searing Noise.

Leibstandarte SS MB ‎– "Menses" (Come Org ‎– WDC883023) 1982

You'll be relieved to know that this is the last Maurizio Bianchi post, and the third and final 'Leibstandarte SS release. Although it was re-released later under the  'MB' moniker, which is a more accurate assessment of the authorship.
Yep you guessed it ,rather noisy, don't expect a chorus or middle eight,and the only bridge you'll be taken to is the Mostar Bridge as it was destroyed by Croatian forces in the Yugoslavian ethnic cleansing war.
Nothing changes, either in Bianchi's formula, or in human behaviour.
The tracks themselves are like listening to cartoon sound effects whilst being waterboarded, or held face down in a bath of shit while a bunch of hi-fiving andrenalin junkies bungee jump over an active volcano crater.
All this, and NO Nazi speech cut-ups to ruin the 'fun'.Either way, you know what you're in for?

Here we go, Nazisploitation album part two.
Nothing sells like a pair of Tits, sharks, or a Nazi.....and here we have a pair of 'Tits'(Bianchi and Bennett) selling an album of Noise, chock-a-bloc full of Nazis, with Come Organisation playing the part of the Shark.
In all fairness it'snot quite as bad as the previous effort by Leibstantart SS MB, "Triumph Of The Will", as it only has one track that features a collage of Nazi Speeches.The culprit responsible was possibly Maurizio Himself rather than William Bennett this time;as 'MB' didn't disown this one, unlike "Triumph Of The Will".
Although "Triumph Of The Will" would make a superb backing track to 'Brexit', as this Nietzschean phrase is often heard spouted by all Brexshitters from cost(50Billion Quid) to coast and beyond. That said,looking at your average 'Brexshitter', that other famed Nietzschean term, The "Uber-Mensch", couldn't be further from an accurate description of these lazy mobility scooter bound intellectual minnow xeno-scumbags,who are more often than not, 'On the Sick'*.....the Nazi catchphrase "Unter-Mensch" is far more appropriate....and for my money, the re-introduction of the Nazi euthanasia program for these little englander dicks would cleanse the gene pool immeasurably.

Now we present the 'Blind Faith'* of Italian Industrial, 'Lyoto Music' and their eponymously titled cassette called.....er......"Lyoto Music".
At least, unlike the aforementioned 'Blind Faith'they at least had a naked consenting adult on their cover ,rather than a nude pubescent schoolgirl(who looked disturbingly like Robert plant?!) holding a model aircraft. We,civilised humanity, definitely needs an operation yew tree* investigation on sixities rock monsters....they'd ALL be banged up I can guarantee it.Unless they use the infamous Pete Townsend defense plea,and call Under-age sex.... This Italian Post-Industrial Super-Group, featuring the bloke from Mauthausen Orchestra and the bloke from Swastika Kommando, present two sides of yer standard Italian Power Electronics, resplendent with lo-spec artwork of an un-named female being,for want of a better word....'Fisted'.
When this came out I was naive/young enough to have dismissed the act of 'Fisting' as an urban myth.I now know better...NOT...I may add, to having experienced this dubious pleasure myself,giving or receiving ;but I MAY have seen video evidence from an un-named web based emporium that offers such specialized entertainment for the discerning self-whittler*,free of charge.

Who the fuck is Ilse Koch? One may ask?
Better known after the war as the "Bitch of Buchenwald" ,she allegedly chose inmates with Tattoo's to be killed and their skin to be made into decorative lampshades.At both of her trials, this was proved to be absolute bollocks.This didn't help her escape being given a life sentence, during which she topped herself in the six six sixties(note clever Throbbing Gristle reference?).
Lady Nazi's seem to be a popular male fantasy, but as I earlier mentioned in my piece on 'Women Ov Thee SS' and Irma Grese, "The Angel Of Auschwitz", they weren't 'lookers', and i'm sorry to inform you, never wore patent leather jackboots, fishnets stockings and crotchless PVC panties. They were as rough as old arseholes. Checkout a picture of our Ilse.....my 'Koch' would not want to go near it; even though she was subsequently 'knocked up' as a prisoner in Dachau.The child campaigning to this day for her to be pardoned posthumously.Her earlier child having previously committed suicide over the shame of who his parents were.(Namely Otto Koch,commandant of Buchenwald and his missus).

Ugly on the inside,and the outside, the lovely Ilse gets a fitting tribute on this jolly compilation that represents the ugliness of life by the inclusion of several complete Twats; including Reichfuhrer Heinrich Himmler, who would have labelled the 'music' on here as 'Degenerate' and sentenced all contributors to death without trial.
Twat number 2 is none other than Chuck Manson, and his very appropriate self-penned number,"Cease To Exist". Appropriate because neither he or Ilse 'Exist' anymore in 2018. Which makes this world slightly less of a shithole for their absence from it. At least Manson never joined the Monkees, for whom he allegedly auditioned in 1965....which by the way is Total urban mythology style Crap!.....membership of which is equally a jail-able offence.
Twat number three is the self-proclaimed 'Beast', posh bloke Aliester Crowley, who thought so much of his own legend that he believed he was some sort of incarnation of the devil or something. That's no bad thing, but his introduction of that bloody daft spelling style,for example, 'ov & Magick', that all Industrial artists inflicted on the world, is almost unforgivable.
So on this rather silly tribute LP we have Germans,Italians, and some Japanese imperial army tune, which opens the album to complete the Axis powers representation.Then, to make things worse we have some augmented rubbish from a deluded Devil wannabe, and an attention starved murder cult guru.....charming.
There are some good bits however,like Nurse With Wound,and Whitehouse are always game for a laugh, so don't let Ilses' frowny fizzog put you off.

Axis Sally, for those who didn't know (Or care?),which is most everybody; was the female version of Lord Haw Haw on the Nazi English language propaganda service during world war two.......and you thought this might be a Broken Flag release without any reference to right wing politics in Germany.......well, you were wrong.
Then we look at the track list and see that every track has some reference at least to Nazi's or right wing twits like Senator Joe McCarthy.
Axis Sally, like Lord Haw Haw ,was American......ahh the 'special relationship' between Britain and the USA  rears its non-existent head once more. But at least we (the Brits) got to hang Lord Haw Haw, whereas Axis Sally escaped the Gallows, as many other 'top' Nazis did thanks to a concept of American Justice that has now disappeared.
All this Nazi, Murderer, Sadism stuff ,is designed to confront ourselves with the part of ourselves we would rather not admit to;and to a certain extent it works.Sadly Like when Donald Trump said "You won't find anyone less Racist than me",few people are comfortable at being confronted by this side to their character.
However, these tapes are preaching to the converted, and I doubt Trump and his dim-witted followers would be interested in listening to banks of squealing synths and barked distorted couplets about Nazis....Trump supporters think they aren't Nazis,so this would put them off immediately. Put all this stuff over a country and Western track instead of skin blistering noise, then they may pay attention.....as long as its in short bursts like TV ads,as they have the attention spans of goldfish with Alzheimers.

Various Artists ‎– "Slaughter Of The Innocent" (New Blockaders Org) 1983

This compilation, compiled by Richard Rupenus of New Blockaders fame, tries nobly to dispel much of the criticism leveled against the industrial/power electronics genre as an all sound-alike group of TG/Whitehouse imitators(Which it largely IS). The great variety of styles, techniques and sounds displayed on this 20 track tape suggest that perhaps this genre is more of a philosophical collective rather than a purely aesthetic one.The truth being more like a mixture of both leaning strongly towards the Aesthetic shoebox that all these acts find themselves cornered in. All the performers included here are extreme and intense chaps, yet the gamut of sounds runs from new musique concrete via 23 Skidoo Funk (Bourbonese Qualk, Mixed Band Philanthropist) to dark ritualistic collages (Metgumnerbone), to skin peeling power electronics (New Sadism, Vortex Campaign). Then we have Observation Clinique, Konstruktivits,and David Jackman to provide the dark understated, avant garde end of the genre to make us all feel thick.And finally always the very odd one out, Paul Kelday is here to provide some Kosmishe inspired spacey electronics.

Various Artists ‎– "Trial By Ordeal" (Broken Flag ‎– BF 31) 1983

Trial by Ordeal was the preferred method of finding out if that old hag from the shitty end of the village really was a witch. If she survived being held underwater for an inordinate length of time she was obviously a Witch and would therefore have to be burnt at the Stake...which apparently witches could not survive.
This tape is something similar, and if you survive sixty minutes of MORE Industrial sameness then you should probably self-immolate yourself before the Witchfinder general,or the Police, ring your novelty doorbell.
That said, probably the best way to listen to Industrial Noise is in the form of a compilation.Even in the Industrial corner that many acts have painted themselves into, there are subtly different shades of conformity available.Luckily we have Giancarlos Toniutti to provide some pretentious avant garde noise in between the balls to the wall stuff from fellow I-tie  Mauthausen Orchestra and Whitehouse copyists Ramleh. The other Italian act on the list LXSS (or Laxative Souls), also provide some welcome respite with some gentle echo laden Industrial Percussion. 
So, all-in-all, as Industrial comps go,this is a less dull one.

I was going to post all of the Swastika Kommando and related offshoots' Tapes individually.....but the sequence got ruined,fittingly, by the demise of Mark E. Smith. So, here's the 2014 complete Post-Industrial Noise career in a box anthology of Pietro Mazzocchin's 1983 works on Menstrual Recordings.(Most of these were originally on Broken Flag in fact).I assume the picture on the front of the box is not the man himself,so i'm guessing its a Nazi War Criminal......predictably enough). So pop a tampon (unused) in each ear,turn the volume up,and wait for your neighbours(if they're still talking to you?),girlfriend (If you have one?), and maybe even the Police to start banging on your door and walls shouting, "TURN THAT SHIT OFF!".

Mark E. Smith : "A Tribute?"

Those of you who are sick of the recent barrage of Italian Post-Industrial Noise have been rescued,momentarily by the untimely death of the Bard of Prestwich, Mark Edward Smith.Yea,he of The Fall.
I once thought that 'The Fall' was a good name for a group,until I realised it was American for 'Autumn'!?.....very proto-gothic I thought.
This Band.....oh sorry.....'Group', as Mark E. always insisted they were, fitted very nicely into the exclusive ,canon of 'groups' such as Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band, as 'groups' one could NOT get into on the first encounter. As with Beefheart, the first time I heard 'The Fall' I was immediately enamored and wanted more, like Oliver Twist approaching the Mr Bumble of accepted Rock'n'Roll myths for more Gruel. If there was a food equivalent for The Fall, it could only be a grubby bowl of tepid Gruel. Marks corresponding Dickensian character would have had to have been Fagin, and the endless supply of Group members would have been his gang of child pick-pockets,but with worse clothes. 
I first heard The Fall (mark 1),aged 14, predictably on the John Peel show back in '78. "Stepping Out" from the 'Live at the Electric Circus' blue ten incher on ,incredibly, Virgin Records, was the track. I found this short discordant tune was to this date the weirdest thing i'd ever heard, even alongside the moment my record player needle hit the grooves of "Frownland", the opener to 'Trout Mask replica'.
That saturday I asked my Mother to pop into the record shop to get me a copy.
'Twas a thing of great beauty in its opaque electric blue vinyl, made even better as it introduced me to Joy Division as well. But it was the two tracks by The Fall that were by far the most intriguing.Both tracks ('Stepping Out, and Last Orders') would have been very relevant for Mark's funeral service in my opinion, predictably followed by 'Bill Is Dead' and ' New face In Hell' from the post-Bramah period.
Then i was privileged to hear the first Peel session from 1978, which included the best ever Fall song in my opinion, "Industrial estate".....I Know Mark will be spinning in his Urn, but its a fact.
Then I spotted "Bingo-Masters Breakout" stuck on the wall of Revolver Records in Leicester, opposite Gary Linekers' family vegatable stall in the market.
Wow!..."Psycho Mafia" , and "Repetition",which set out The Fall's musical manifesto in three letters, The three 'R's....Repetition, Repetition, Repetition!...Perfect.
All the tunes on the first singles and "Live at the Witch Trials" were indeed......Perfect in their imperfection........then, as happens with everything 'good', the human ego takes hold and  ruins everything. Mark wanted the 'Group' to be his backing 'Band', and he was to be the poet in the spotlight. So Martin Bramah, the musicial brains behind the early Fall, left (returning for the last great ,despite the inclusion of a DJ(?) in the line-up?,Fall Album, "Extricate" in 1990).
I again sent my long suffering Mother downtown to Revolver to get "Dragnet", the second album, and the first Mark E. Smith and backing band record. The magic had gone for me, and it was only 1979! If it wasn't for the Vocals and lyrical content,it would have been not much different to any Spherical Objects album from the same town and era. It had the lo-fi clautrophobic atmosphere, and a greyness about it,but it just sounded like a 'Band' of also-rans, following orders to these ears. Some good singles followed and a few more decent albums, but it never again recreated the spark the early records achieved for me.
But......as a Poet and  Word E. Smith , he was probably second to none. Of course he had to have a backing 'Band', or no-one would have had the pleasure of his written script. No matter how slurred his delivery became in the last twenty years of the 'Groups' existence, the lyrical content was always interesting and worthy of study in English Literature classes of the near-future.
Then during the eighties, in the period when Mark E. was seen dancing in video's, wearing eye-liner and Armani suits, a bizarre mental illness reared its ugly head....."The Fall Fan" became common place.
Mostly post-teenage male professionals with thinning male pattern baldness, they delighted in telling anyone who would listen who their Favourite Group was, with an 'Ain't I weird' smirk. Willing the person on the receiving end of this announcement to have an aptly confused expression on their face.
Bank managers were regularly seen replacing the Jazz cd's on their coffee table with a copy of "Hex Enduction Hour".As much as Mark hated being accidentally,but on purpose, 'Cool', his 'Group' were now inevitably accessories for the Yuppie classes and trainspotters everywhere to appear 'Cool'.
Yes, a Fall Gig was a depressing experience.
But we still have the records, and The Complete Peel Sessions is arguably the best one, even if it goes downhill musically from the third session onwards....."Australians In Europe" excepted.
The words however will live on in infamy ,....infamy,infamy they all had it infa-him!
He should be interred in Poets Corner in Westminster abbey, but the great man,contrary as always would have viewed that as a failure. So an unmarked grave in hallowed ground in Prestwich will have to suffice methinks? He was, remarkably, a Christian after-all!?

PS...Oh, and by the way, yes he sacked a lot of group members and was permanently Drunk for at least 20 years, but he was one of the grand dukes of DIY philosophy,so he' earned this mealy mouthed tribute well.Hopefully he won't just be remembered only for being the drunk megalomaniac he's so often portrayed as? RIP MES.

Observation Clinique ‎– "The Mental Answer 1" (Recloose Organisation ‎– Loose 3) 1984

The same bloke who was know alternatively as Swastika Kommando and New Sadism, Pietro Mazzocchin, was also...yes, you guessed it.....no,not a nazi,....well maybe(?).....he was also Observation Clinique; who made this contribution for a three tape overhaul of Italian 'post'Industrial acts on Bourbonese Qualks label, Recloose Org in 1984.
"The Mental Answer 1" also made it out there as an album in its own right, and thinking of Pietro's favourite subject matter ,the mental answer was probably the pre-war Nazi Euthanasia program against the disabled.
Side A is the standard half an hour of untuned short wave radio static that we've heard a thousand times before.....OK we get it, you're an intellectual, albeit in your own lunchtime.
Side B sounds like a a thousand car theft alarms arguing with a flock of Seagulls.....unfortunately NOT the band, but an actual Flock of the rather noisy seabirds, and pissed-off ones at that. It does the trick nicely, inducing the emotion of anger as one reaches aggressively for the off button.If there's one noise that makes me wanna smash up any offending device more than a car alarm I'd like to know what it is?

The New Sadism ‎– "Urge To Kill" (Aquilifer Sodality ‎– 1AE 09009) 1983

For this exploration of extreme sex and violence as sonic paint stripper, I have decided to use the cover art from a later re-release on "Strength Through Joy" (would you believe it,a Nazi reference again?!), as the original cover was kind of inappropriate....in a schoolboy misogynistic way.....rather than just offensive. I've personally no problem with anything offensive,in fact positively encourage it, but I'm not risking an angry mob of aggressive,so-called, 'feminists' stalking my cyber footprints unless I can help it in these last days of the 'Male'.Just by typing this I'm risking being labelled a Misogynist Neanderthal Pervert.....mainly because I'm male with the misfortune to find females attractive; thanks in no small measure to naturally occurring Testosterone.
Disclaimer:
Having said that I do Not condone the behaviour depicted on the original Aquilifer Sodality release, or the subject matter frequently used by most Industrial artists to confront these issues head on.
Power Electronics' motives can be explained in a couple of ways.Either as a sonic mirror reflecting all of lifes horror back at us so we can confront ourselves, or, as a way of breaking through the Taboo's of the social construct we are trapped inside.The objective being 'freedom'.

Swastika Kommando ‎– "Der Arbeiter" (Broken Flag ‎– BF22) 1983

Power Electronics in Italy wasn't just limited to Maurizio Bianchi and Pierpaulo Zoppo, we also have the debatable privilege to include  Pietro Mazzochin (aka Swastika Kommando, New Sadism,and Obvservation Clinique) into this unholy triumvirate.
The rather unsubtly named Swastika Kommando (swas)sticks (see what I did?)faithfully to the standard Power Electronics formula of abrasive ear damaging electronic noise, padded cell style screaming vocals, and Nazi references-a-gogo.
It depends if you enjoy being reminded of the shear horror of life whether you can play this for more than 10 minutes or not, but its a fairly masterful attempt at the genre; complete with vocals that sound like the muffled screams of a kidnap victim bound and gagged in a coal-bunker after having several fingers removed to post to the victims loved ones.

They'll never learn will they?
Whom is the 'They' he is referring to? Victims of death squads, members of Death Squads,the bosses of the Death Squads? And what exactly is it that they should be learning? How not to die from a bullet to the head? How to kill people better? Which poison gas to inhale,like a consumer magazine for perpetrators and victims of Genocide......"Which Pogrom?"
Well I'm sure Zoppo knows, as he obviously intends the 'They' in the title, to be construed as 'The Human Race' in general.Whether he included himself in that demographic or not is unclear.
Us discerning misanthropes always tread a thin line between being labelled pessimists or arrogant, when one is simply making a simple observation that the Human Race in general, including myself and the late Zoppo, are incapable of getting on with each other or the Planet.There is at least 2 or 3 thousand years of history to back this statement up, from the ancient times of 'BF'.....Before Facebook.
Basically, let's just give up and accept our fate....whatever that may entail.We may be delightfully surprised, but I doubt it.
And the answer to the perfectly reasonable question 'will they ever learn(?)' is printed across the cover of this C-60.

Well.....the literal translation of this album title is, "The Annihilation of Unworthy Life"!.....I wonder what that's a reference to?
You guessed it, I yawned it! Another contribution to 'Holocaust Fatigue Syndrome', I'm sick of hearing about it like it was the only genocide that ever happened in human history.....and there were an awful lot.There's even one happening right now in Myanmar. Conveniently ignored,because it doesn't involve white Christians,or Jews, or rich people.It's only Muslims, so there seems to be an acceptance in the current political climate. And us, in the 'west', probably think that those blood thirsty Buddhists,an oxymoron if ever there was one, are doing us a favor. And we wonder where terrorists come from?
If Mauthausen Orchestra was still operating today, he'd still be obsessed with the Nazi Genocide,even Yugoslavia wouldn't get a mention,which happened just over the other side of the Adriatic sea from Italy.It was only Muslims again I suppose?

I'd like to think that these 'Power Electronics' tapes all sound different,but I'm sorry to report that they don't.Its that 'Van Morrison Syndrome' again, and to these desensitized ears, good as it is, I found myself stifling a few yawns, then fumbling for my Flock Of Seagulls collection once more.

Pierpaulo Zoppo's unhealthy obsessions with extreme sex, perversion, tortures,disease and.......er......oh no, not Nazi's AGAIN!?.....manifest them selves in this, admittedly very samey ,but consistently brutal distorted noise collages. Any of his cassettes from 1982 to 1986 are highly recommended for any dysfunctional sociopathic loner to vent his,or rarely, her, pent up anger at the human condition and the world in general.It's a soundtrack for that moment when you really see what is served up on your dinner plate.

Staying in the Italian Industrial belt, here we have the extreme end of this particularly noisy spectrum with, the now very dead, Pierpaulo Zoppo's Mauthausen Orchestra project.
We are definitely entering the 'Power Electronics' zone of Industrial music here, Italy's Whitehouse compared to Maurizio Bianchi's Old School Throbbing Gristle variety.
At least he named himself after a forced Labour camp rather than one of the alleged 'Extermination'camps, so he's not allying himself with the more extreme end of Nazi politics; probably more out of ignorance rather than consciously.
The music,if thats what you want to call it, is the,now, well-trodden path of napalm intense sand blasting noise that could dissolve your ears if your amplifier could ever go up to eleven.
A true innovator.

The last Sacher-Pelz tape before Bianchi retreated behind his initials, reveals his penchants for mucking about with his record player. This sounds like a scratched LP stuck in a lockgroove, a la Boyd Rice's Pagan Musick stylee. Lots of speeding up,slowing down,and running the grooves backwards with the claustrophobic sibilant qualities of cheap ferric oxide, akin to a wobbly Jacuzzi of fucked up found sound.

Cainus?....can only think this is a biblical reference to Adam and Eve's son Cain? Who was such a naughty boy that he was exiled to the 'Land of Nod' by none-other  than 'God' himself,after murdering his brother Abel. Leaving no other male contributor to the gene pool in Eden than Adam.
Whoopeee, does this mean I can go bible bashing again!?...OK here goes.......
The fact that there was a rival land,apparently populated by rival humans as well(?), to the garden of Eden on early biblical Earth, which some dumbass cleric (Archbishop Ussher?) worked out was created on....wait for it..... Sunday 23rd of October 4004 BC at 2pm in the afternoon!!!?.....means that there were already plenty of lifeforms around before God bothered to plonk Adam, alone, in a garden.At what point he did this deed after the six days he took to make the Earth,or was it the universe(?), isn't clear.
Ahhhh,but lickle Adam was lonely. So God ripped out one of Adam's Ribs and carved it into 'Woman' and they were straight at it and had two kids.....Cain and Abel........believable yes?.......millions of so-called intelligent Humans base their entire lives on every punctuation mark that appears in this medieval English literature classic.....although nowadays its wouldn't find a publisher purely for the hundreds of bizarre continuity errors that are strewn carelessly throughout this over lengthy tome. It makes 'Naked Lunch' seem logical in comparison,and probably a more valid and moral religious guidebook too!?
So Cain was exiled to the Land of Nod, which was(don't know why i'm referring to this stuff as 'facts'?)  east of Eden,and beyond  God's influence!!!!???.....this is getting better!?.......Cain was accompanied by his wife!!!!!????....so there were other women in Eden too, who apparently were not related to mankinds primary parents? And what was 'west' of Eden I'd like to know? And who created the people of Nod if God had no influence there? Did Cain need a visa? 
I'm so full of questions aren't I?.....unlike our religious buddies who accept any old nonsense as much as we(Atheists/Agnostics) all accept 'Alternative Facts'on Facebook as the literal undeniable truth.

So.

Now we've established that Bianchi made these recordings in his bedroom at his parents house,and that his mother dressed him.One wonders if she ever listened in to what her spoiled child was doing with his cassette recorders? And what would she have said if she had a snidey look at his track titles while he was out looking for friends? 

Almost certainly it would have been a 'Catholic' household,which would explain the borderline Nazi imagery he over-used on later releases; so even the notion of kissing open-mouthed outside of wedlock would have caused major consternation in the Bianchi household.He's a VERY naughty boy indeed!Which i'm sure his new scantily clad friends at the local massage parlour told him regularly between beatings.....probably delivered both ways.

So, I've been informed,he is now a full-time Jehovah's Witness,which also figures because Hitler had a weird respect for this cult, and the way they settled in enthusiastically to their roles as prisoners in the extermination/concentration camps during those jolly old final solution years.No fuss was given, as its all in God's secret plan.......of course it never occurred to them that their skewed interpretation of some tenuous instructions from an invisible and inaudible deity might possibly have been wrong?.....oh no!?

As for Venus,the goddess of 'Love'? Being Roman she would have been well up for the most perverted and sickening forms of sexual expression ever thought up in the cruel mind of man. Therefore, Venus is a very appropriate deity for the common themes of Industrial music ,even if it is made in the bedroom of an adult child.

At first I thought the title was another stab at Genesis P-Orridge because 'Venus' rhymes with 'Penis', which the great GP-O obviously is.It could also apply to Gene Pitney* too,but he's dead, so leave him alone.

Maurizio Bianchi, called himself Sacher-Pelz before transforming himself into the search engine nightmare that is 'MB'.

The title of this cassette suggests a liking for a bit of Throbbing Gristle,and the music suggests a distinct Boyd Rice and 'NON' influence.So expect some harshly manicured noise,terminally repetitive loops, and some attention span testing turntable abuse. All aimed to remind us all of how 'decadent' we are by making us listen to our favorite machines screaming for help....yeah, its all so clear to me now,thanks Maurizio for saving me. He must have been bullied at school.

A full and robust realisation of Bianchi's concept of, and I quote..."(to)produce technological sounds to work for a full awareness of modern decadence".
How decadant is that?
This is why he dresses like an off duty Postman posing for the menswear section in Kays Catalogue. It could be worse, he might have posed for the underwear section!

Mmmmmm,thats nice.....I'll take three pairs of those casual slacks please....... Trendy Italiano Bianchi relaxing after a hard mornings tape abuse........sometimes he works for half an hour, and then,sometimes, another half an hour......its a hard life being an artist y'know!

Maurizio Bianchi (M.B.) - "Fetish Tape" (Self-Released Cassette) 1980

If there's one subject Industrial musicians like almost as much as Nazi's, it's Fetishes; the more perverted the better.
There's not much on offer on this C-60 to suggest anything sexual,unless drowning in a depth charged U-Boat is a popular pervy pastime? Although you can only do that once, so I doubt it counts as a 'Fetish' as such; but I wager there will be at least one creepy perv lurking in a PVC 'peek-a-boo' bra,crotchless panties and bollock-weight, wanking off about a fantasy such as this!?
Indeed, Side A, is like a recording from the inside of a Nazi Submarine hiding from the Royal Navy,and sinking after being pounded by some very accurate ordnance.
Side B, is somewhat less listenable.Similar to the valve frying sound of the salvaged radio from that very same U-Boat of Side A. Coughing and spluttering back into a malfunctioning existence,picking up only the interference between stations,then feeding it back through a cheapo distortion pedal.

Maurizio Bianchi (M.B.) ‎– "Gene P" (Maurizio Bianchi Self-released) 1980

Staying in the dodgy hinterland that is old school Italian noise ,we present more self-released cassettes from the Il Duce of the Industrial Pizza, Maurizio Bianchi, also known as" M.B."(Get more of his many tapes HERE!)

Knowing Maurizio's many flirtations with Fascistic themes and imagery;the Gene P he is referring to in the title is more likely to be something to do with Eugenics rather than a thinly veiled tribute to Gene Pitney.

Side A sounds uncannily like a version of "24 Hours From Tulsa" fed to a concrete mixer full of old tin cans and redundant church bells, before being pulverised into some weird metallic hardcore for one of Mussolini's autostrade.

Side B is a badly mutilated copy of "Somethings Gotten Hold Of My Heart" played by an angle grinder on a stormy hilltop.

Should empty a room of Gene Pitney fans in less than twenty seconds......yep, it's that good.

Giancarlo Toniutti ‎– "Das Todesantlitz" (Self-Released - Giancarlo Toniutti ‎– 3) 1983

"Toniutti does minimal electronics".

You know you've made it in the modern composition world when you're referred to solely by your family name.

I think however, that Toniutti was still in the Giancarlo phase when he made these two repetitive electronic pieces. Probably only by his mama, and his rock'n'rolling mates at the Venice Conservatoire of music.I can almost hear him begging them all to just call him 'Toniutti'.

I'm sure he's made it to full-time surname obscurity now though.Bless his cotton socks.
