FHM

FHM was a UK monthly men's lifestyle magazine. It contained features such as the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World. On 17 November 2015, FHM announced on its website that it would be suspending publication.

History

The magazine began publication in 1985 in the UK under the name For Him Magazine and changed its title to FHM in 1994 when Emap Consumer Media bought the magazine, although the full For Him Magazine continues to be printed on the spine of each issue.

Circulation expanded to newsagents as a quarterly by the spring of 1987 and then monthly in 1994. It subsequently dominated the men's market and began to expand internationally, being published in 27 countries including Pakistan and India.

FHM was sold as part of the publishing company sale, from EMAP to Hamburg based company Bauer Media Group in February 2008.

On 17 November 2015, FHM announced their intention to suspend publication alongside that of fellow men's magazine ZOO.

FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World

Each of FHM's international editions publish yearly rankings for the sexiest women alive based on public and editorial voting through the magazine's website. Dates of magazine issues, winners, ages of winners at the time of selection, and pertinent comments are listed below. The data below refers only to the British edition (the rankings for the international editions vary widely, with many top-ranking women in some editions not appearing at all in others).

Nadine Lustre

Nadine Alexis Paguia Lustre (born October 31, 1993) is a Filipina singer, actress, television host, and choreographer. She is best known for her role as Eya Rodriguez in the film adaptation of Diary ng Panget and as Georgina Evangelista in the television remake of the Bagets film series. Lustre was a member and oftentimes lead vocalist of the all-female group called Pop Girls. Eventually, she left the group and became a solo singer.

Acting career

2002–13: Beginning, TV5 and GMA Network

Lustre started as a TV host in RPN's children oriented show entitled Storyland, when she was nine years old. She became one of the members of the cast in TV5's youth-oriented program Bagets, being a talent of Viva Entertainment. Lustre also appeared in the film Petrang Kabayo with Vice Ganda on the lead role, and starred in P. S. I Love You a drama series in TV5.

Lustre appeared in several GMA Network shows including performances in SOP Rules.

2014–present: Career breakthrough

When Viva Films got the film rights of the best-selling novel Diary ng Panget by HaveYouSeenThisGirL, she got the role of the main protagonist, Eya Rodriguez. She starred together with James Reid, Yassi Pressman and Andre Paras. The film was released on April 2, 2014 and became a box-office hit earning at least 120 million pesos during its 4-week run.

The Philippines (ⁱ/ˈfɪlᵻpiːnz/; Filipino: Pilipinas [ˌpɪlɪˈpinɐs]), officially known as the Republic of the Philippines (Filipino: Republika ng Pilipinas), is a sovereign island country in Southeast Asia situated in the western Pacific Ocean. It consists of about 7,500 islands that are categorized broadly under three main geographical divisions: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The capital city of the Philippines is Manila and the most populous city is Quezon City; both are part of Metro Manila.

To the north of the Philippines across the Luzon Strait lies Taiwan; Vietnam sits west across the South China Sea; southwest lies Malaysia in the island of Borneo across the Sulu Sea, and to the south the Celebes Sea separates it from other islands of Indonesia; while to the east it is bounded by the Philippine Sea and the island-nation of Palau. Its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire and close to the equator makes the Philippines prone to earthquakes and typhoons, but also endows it with abundant natural resources and some of the world's greatest biodiversity. Helen Flanagan

Helen Joyce Gabriel Flanagan (born 7 August 1990) is an English actress, model, and television personality. She is best known for playing the role of Rosie Webster in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 2000 to 2012. She was voted the most attractive British candidate in the 2013 FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll.

Early life

Flanagan was born in Bury, Greater Manchester, England. She attended Westholme School in Blackburn, Lancashire.

Career

Flanagan first appeared as Rosie Webster in Coronation Street in January 2000. In 2006, she was nominated for the award of "Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress" at the British Soap Awards, losing to Ellis Hollins of Hollyoaks. In 2007, she was nominated for "Villain of the Year" at the same awards, this time losing to Coronation Street co-star Jack P. Shepherd. In October 2011, Flanagan announced that she would leave Coronation Street in February 2012 to pursue other interests.

In 2010, Flanagan appeared in Coronation Street spin-off Coronation Street: A Knights Tale as her character Rosie Webster. Then in 2011, she had her own Coronation Street spin-off Just Rosie, which explored her character Rosie Webster trying to build a modelling career in London.
