Rachael King is an award-winning New Zealand writer and author of two books for adults, Magpie Hall and The Sound of Butterflies, and one for children, Red Rocks.
Rachael’s work has been translated into eight languages and has garnered critical praise worldwide.
Rachael will be appearing at the Edinburgh International Book Festival on August 19, 2017, talking about Red Rocks in the session Migrating Mythologies, alongside Scottish children’s writer Lari Don.
