Croatia (i/kroʊˈeɪʃə/ kroh-AY-shə; Croatian: Hrvatska [xř̩ʋaːtskaː]), officially the Republic of Croatia (Croatian: Republika Hrvatska, listen ), is a sovereign state at the crossroads of Central Europe, Southeast Europe, and the Mediterranean. Its capital city is Zagreb, which forms one of the country's primary subdivisions, along with its twenty counties. Croatia covers 56,594 square kilometres (21,851 square miles) and has diverse, mostly continental and Mediterranean climates. Croatia's Adriatic Sea coast contains more than a thousand islands. The country's population is 4.28 million, most of whom are Croats, with the most common religious denomination being Roman Catholicism.
The Croats arrived in the area of present-day Croatia during the early part of the 7th century AD. They organised the state into two duchies by the 9th century. Tomislav became the first king by 925, elevating Croatia to the status of a kingdom. The Kingdom of Croatia retained its sovereignty for nearly two centuries, reaching its peak during the rule of Kings Peter Krešimir IV and Dmitar Zvonimir. Croatia entered a personal union with Hungary in 1102. In 1527, faced with Ottoman conquest, the Croatian Parliament elected Ferdinand I of the House of Habsburg to the Croatian throne. In 1918, after World War I, Croatia was included in the unrecognised State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs which seceded from Austria-Hungary and merged into the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. A fascist Croatian puppet state existed during World War II. After the war, Croatia became a founding member and a federal constituent of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, a constitutionally socialist state. In June 1991, Croatia declared independence, which came into effect on 8 October of the same year. The Croatian War of Independence was fought successfully during the four years following the declaration.

Croatia has received valuable military equipment from the United States. Military cooperation between Croatia and the United States has been growing more intense, especially since April 2009 when Croatia became a member of NATO. Good military relations have brought Croatia military aid, mainly in the form of donations which Croatia regularly receives from its most important military partner, reports Večernji List on October 30, 2016. According to the Ministry of Defence, since 2010 Croatia has received weapons, equipment, education and training valued at about 500 million dollars, or 3.5 billion kuna. How important that amount is for Croatia’s military budget can be seen from the fact that Croatia spends on defence an average of 4 billion kuna annually. Croatia is among NATO members wh...

Photo of Trump with President of Croatia Just Broke The Internet, After Everyone Noticed 1 SURPRISING Thing News Source:https://goo.gl/vvQeq1 While last week’s NATO summit did include a few awkward moments between Present Trump and feckless, sold-out European leaders like France’s Emmanuel Macron and Germany’s Angela Merkel, the media characterization of a foreign delegation entirely in contempt of our president is belied by at least one world leader. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, the current President of Croatia and the first woman to hold the office, also attended the summit, and her view of Trump is apparently vastly different from her snowflake counterparts. According to Balkan Insight, Grabar-Kitarović “even got tickets to Trump’s inauguration [in January], but decided not to go so tha...

Croatia's new center president signaled on Monday she meant to hold the Social Democrat-led government to account over the economy, in comments that could herald months of tense cohabitation before a parliamentary election. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, who became Croatia's first female head of state on Sunday after narrowly beating the government-backed incumbent, said she would demand an extraordinary cabinet session to discuss the parlous state of the economy. Croatia's economy has been in recession for six years and unemployment stands at 19 percent. Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic, whose Social Democrats trail the president's center HDZ party in opinion polls, responded negatively to her demand for a special meeting. http://feeds.reuters.com/~r/Reuters/worldNews/~3/maWoigXStbU/story01.htm...

Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Karamarko resigned on Wednesday and said his HDZ party, the biggest in the ruling center-right coalition, aimed to form a new government after a scheduled vote of no-confidence set for Thursday. His resignation brings to a head a political crisis that has dogged the five-month-old administration of technocrat Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic and has hampered plans to improve Croatia's business climate and revive a moribund economy. Parliament is expected to back the motion of no-confidence filed by the conservative HDZ in Thursday's vote. Earlier on Wednesday a state monitoring body accused Karamarko of a conflict of interest due to his wife's business ties with a consultant of Hungary's energy group MOL. Karamarko said his resignation had nothing...

Mandarins from Croatia's Neretva Valley and kulen sausage from the Baranja region in the east of the country have won recognition as Geographical Indications (GIs), a sign used on goods that have a specific geographical origin and possess qualities, reputation or characteristics that are essentially attributable to that origin. The successful registration is the result of a joint FAO/EBRD project to develop GIs in Croatia and strengthen backward linkages. With the support of a large Croatian agribusiness company and the Ministry of Agriculture, groups of farmers were organised, standards created and the GIs officially registered over the course of just three years. © FAO: http://www.fao.org

It is an area known for good food, good wine, olive oil, truffles and a beautiful landscape. On the wine side, much has happened since 1990, when Yugoslavia disappeared. Earlier it was important to make large quantities of cheap wine. Now there is a new generation of winegrowers, called The Young Wild, with new ideas, new technology, and new skills in how to make quality wine. There has been a revolution in winemaking in Croatia. In June 2009, we were attending a scientific conference. With us were two of our native born and raised Croatian faculty members, who made sure we saw the true Croatia. During the conference, a trip to a restaurant (Boltina Hiza, Braslovje) in the Samobor Hills region was conducted. The food was unforgettably good, the scenery unbelievable, and the folk music (Tamburasko Drustvo "Ferdo Livadic"- Samobor) is something to be remembered for a lifetime. This video gives a little taste of the sensory treat that is Croatia.

A raucous snapshot that beautifully captures a fading culture of mischievous limericks set to traditional music. For the people of Croatia's rural Istria, raunchy humor and expressive dialect are an affirmation of their cultural traditions, along with a serving of home-grown food, wine and an abundance of joyous laughter. by South East European Film Festival, Los Angeles
Health Care in Croatia from "International Health Care Systems". Health care in Croatia is fairly developed and accessible to all the citizens regardless of their socioeconomic and employment status. It is financed through the Croatian Health Care Institute which is a central and public health insurance organisation. Croatia is the only European country still having medical specialisation in School and University Medicine, focused primarily on prevention and health care promotion in the young population. However, there is no comprehensive national health prevention programme, although there are relatively many prevention activities led by various institutions, healthcare organisations, societies and foundations. Beside suboptimal preventative medicine, curative medicine in Croatia is at a ...

Croatia, a country of a special energy and healthy living! Croatia is already quite well known as a country of special beauty, a moderate climate, a rich and interesting past which stretches back to ancient times, of tasty and healthy food and intriguing wines. The wonderful blend of the azure sea with its more than a thousand islands and islets, as well as the green interior from where ancient and mediaeval walls and picturesque castles and manor houses emerge, win over many visitors at the first glance. In every corner many civilisations and cultures intertwine creating a wonderful harmony and a spirit of timelessness with the heritage which they have left behind. All of this together also gives Croatia a new dimension – a dimension of a country of a distinctive energy and a healthy li...

Domovinski rat! The Croatian War of Independence was fought from 1991 to 1995 between Croat forces loyal to the government of Croatia—which had declared independence from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY)—and the Serb-controlled Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) and local Serb forces, with the JNA ending its combat operations in Croatia by 1992. In Croatia, the war is primarily referred to as the Homeland War (Domovinski rat) and also as the Greater-Serbian aggression (Velikosrpska agresija).[25][26] In Serbian sources, War in Croatia (Rat u Hrvatskoj) is the most commonly used public term.[27] A majority of Croats wanted Croatia to leave Yugoslavia and become a sovereign country, while many ethnic Serbs living in Croatia, supported by Serbia,[28][29] opposed the secession an...

During the Yugoslavian war back in the 90es, the Croats tired after gaining the independence to expand their borders. According to the yugoslavian law for Croatia, the Serbs were one of two constitutive people, which means a decision for a country can not be adopted, if both of the constitutive people (in this case the Serbs and the Croats in Croatia) don't reach a joint decision. The new croatian government changed the law and threw the Serbs out of the constitution, so that the Croats will be the only one who can decide what to do with the new country. And to do that, they abolished all rights to the Serbs, from losing their jobs to the discrimination. The Serbs were annexed (the Military border) in Austro-Hungaria to a croatian region and were promised to gain the status of an equal ci...

Egypt's Ministry of Defense released a video on Saturday (November 25) showing the country's military carrying out air strikes on what they said were militant outposts connected to a deadly mosque attack in North Sinai on Friday (November 24, 2017). At least 305 people including 27 children were killed in the attack, in which a bomb was detonated and militants gunned down fleeing worshippers, state media and witnesses report. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the assault, but since 2013 Egyptian security forces have battled an Islamic State affiliate in the mainly desert region, and militants have killed hundreds of police and soldiers. Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi declared three days of mourning in the wake of the attack and vowed to restore stability "with utmo...
Croatia was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire during World War 1 and Croats were just one of the many ethnicities within the Habsburg Empire that went to to war in 1914. Domovinski Rat: Croatian War! In Croatia, the war is primarily referred to as the Homeland War (Domovinski rat) and also as the Greater-Serbian aggression (Velikosrpska agresija).[25][26] In Serbian sources, War in Croatia (Rat u Hrvatskoj) is the most commonly used public term.[27] A majority of Croats wanted Croatia to leave Yugoslavia and become a sovereign country, while many ethnic Serbs living in Croatia, supported by Serbia,[28][29] opposed th...

Here it is.. Cro Cop Story, an awesome personal look into the life of Mirko Filipović, one of the most infamous K-1/Pride fighters of all time. This special was featured in Croatia on local television sometime in the early 2000's. It was ripped and released online with English subtitles. A few years ago, I went through the translation and edited/fixed many of the subtitles which had structuring issues, timing issues, etc. It isn't perfect, but it's a step above the prior release. Finally got around to uploading my re-edit, so here it is. Enjoy! WARRRRRR! Mirko Filipović (Croatian pronunciation: [mîrko fǐːlipɔːʋitɕ]; born September 10, 1974) is a Croatian heavyweight mixed martial artist, retired kickboxer, boxer, politician, and law enforcement officer. ilipović is the former 2006 Pride ...

https://www.expedia.com/Dubrovnik-Southern-Dalmatia.d6050111.Destination-Travel-Guides The Croatian city of Dubrovnik is one of Europe’s most enduring treasures. Cross the medieval bridge and enter the Old Town through Pile Gate, then climb the ramparts for a history lesson like no other. It takes an hour or two to walk the Old Town’s ramparts. At Fort Bokar, take in the views to Fort Lawrence, then follow the sea wall to St John’s Fort, which once protected the City Harbor from enemy ships. Explore Fort Revelin, which offers even more commanding views of the harbor, then continue on to the highest point in the city’s defenses, Fort Minceta. Once you’ve arrived back at Pile Gate, descend into the streets of the Old Town. The town is divided in two by the Stradun, a street marked at ea...

Travel video about destination Croatia. Croatia is a European country located in the Mediterranean, a treasure trove of culture and architecture with a long history, ancient buildings, Christian churches, Venetian cities, colourful traditions and stunning coastline of more than a thousand islands. Zagreb is its political and cultural focal point, an amiable capital city situated at the intersection of Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. The Kaptol district has been its Catholic heart since the Middle Ages. An atmospheric place, Upper Town is a gem Zagreb’s historic past. North of Zagreb on the western border with Slovenia, the picture-perfect Veliki Tabor Castle rises on a hill, its Renaissance courtyard with columns and arcades possessing a touch of southern elegance. Travel video about destination Split in Croatia. Split is the Croatian Republic’s second largest city and the financial and cultural centre of Dalmatia. It has a harbour for ferries, cruise liners and greets tourists from all over the world but the origin and importance of this city date back to Roman emperor, Diocletian who, planning for his retirement, wanted to build a grand property near to his hometown of Salona, a palace along the lines of a Roman castrum. The palace subsequently became an ancient city and the mausoleum a Christian cathedral to which a Venetian campanile was later added. An ingenious system of pillars, corridors, arches and vaulted ceilings, support the palace. Over the centuries, the large basement rooms remained almost untouched and only a few have been renovated...

Assigned and marked,
Let's hope the whores,
Will spread their legs and screw,
The line of men who hope to find the cheapest fuck in town!
Sold, bought.
Cummed in every hole he could.
And now the world will rest their heads,
While she regrets the sex she gave,
Up to the businessman with 3 kids and a wife back home in bed.
Tie her down!
Tie her down, and make her cum.
The taste of summer in every winning horse.
All bets are on, now cheer for the underdog.
The taste of her in any form will do.
Now slap that ass and ride that horse 'til she bucks!
And now the world, open eyes.
Not the prize you hoped to find.
And now you learned your lesson, bitch.
Don't fuck what you don't know.
Whore! Whore! Now you're gonna die!
The taste of summer in every winning horse.
All bets are on, now cheer for the underdog.
The taste of her in any form will do.
Now slap that ass and ride that horse 'til she...
So when she sucks.,
When she fucks you.
(She's buried you!)...and you.
Fucked you too!
You! You! Fucked you!
(She's buried you!)
You! Fucked you too!
Assigned and marked,
Let's hope the whores,
Will spread their legs and screw,
The line of men who hope to find the cheapest fuck in town!
