This skydiver had a double malfunction after a suspension line got caught on a tab, on the closing loop tab. This caused the main to inflate and immediately go into a dive. When he cut away, his main risers disconnected but the suspension line had became too tight around the tab leaving the main trailing behind. You see the result.
I did not have a hook knife. RSL was in use.
****Sunpath did issue a Service Bulletin for these containers. This was a known issue in the early 2000s. I bought the container used and the problem had been addressed, but incorrectly. I should have been more vigilant about knowing my gear and doing routine inspections. I got lucky.

A cutaway is also known as a band-aid because it’s a tidy way to patch a cut. It can take many different forms, but its function is always to provide the editor with options in the cutting room. A cutaway can manipulate tension, convey humor or cast doubt or ambiguity on a scene, among other things. In a way, the director can speak directly to the audience with a band-aid. Whether they are winking at us mischievously, as in An American Werewolf in London, or making us question the story we are given like in Brokeback Mountain. A cutaway in the command of a skilled director has infinite possible uses.

my slider stow ball got tangled in my excess brake line and put me in a fast turn... it happened fast and i just wanted to untangle it. after watching the video with some friends we realized if i would of pulled the right toggle out of the eye hook it might of fixed it... oh well im alive and my reserve works haha

Andrew Forsyth
Andrew Russell Forsyth FRS (18 June 1858, Glasgow – 2 June 1942, South Kensington) was a British mathematician.
Forsyth studied at Liverpool College and was tutored by Richard Pendlebury before entering Trinity College, Cambridge, graduating senior wrangler in 1881. He was elected a fellow of Trinity and then appointed to the chair of mathematics at the University of Liverpool at the age of 24. He returned to Cambridge as a lecturer in 1884 and became Sadleirian Professor of Pure Mathematics in 1895.
Forsyth was forced to resign his chair in 1910 as a result of a scandal caused by his affair with Marion Amelia Boys, née Pollock, the wife of physicist C. V. Boys, who had been granted a divorce on the grounds of Marion's adultery with Forsyth. Marion and Andrew Forsyth were later married.
Forsyth became professor at the Imperial College of Science in 1913 and retired in 1923, remaining mathematically active into his seventies. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1886 and won its Royal Medal in 1897.

Michael Vaughan
Michael Paul Vaughan OBE (born 29 October 1974) is a retired cricketer who represented Yorkshire and England. A classically elegant right-handed batsman and occasional off-spinner, Vaughan was ranked one of the best batsmen in the world following the 2002/03 Ashes, in which he scored 633 runs, including three centuries. Vaughan was an opening batsman and forged a successful England partnership with Marcus Trescothick, though he often batted in the middle order for England. He was the captain of the England team when they regained the Ashes in 2005, eighteen years after having last won the trophy.
Known for his shrewd captaincy and man-management skills, Vaughan captained England in 51 Tests between 2003 and 2008, winning 26 (a national record) and losing 11; England won all seven home Tests of the 2004 summer under Vaughan, and the pinnacle of his captaincy career came with a 2–1 victory in the 2005 Ashes, England's first Ashes victory since 1986/87. However, a recurring knee injury, his decision to move down the batting order to accommodate other openers (Andrew Strauss and Alastair Cook) and the pressures of captaincy took their toll on Vaughan's batting during the latter part of his career: in Tests he averaged 50.95 when not captain, and 36.02 as captain. Vaughan announced his retirement from first-class cricket on 30 June 2009.

A cutaway is also known as a band-aid because it’s a tidy way to patch a cut. It can take many different forms, but its function is always to provide the editor with options in the cutting room. A cutaway can manipulate tension, convey humor or cast doubt or ambiguity on a scene, among other things. In a way, the director can speak directly to the audience with a band-aid. Whether they are winking at us mischievously, as in An American Werewolf in London, or making us question the story we are given like in Brokeback Mountain. A cutaway in the command of a skilled director has infinite possible uses.
