The Xinhua News Agency (English pronunciation: /ˌʃɪnˈhwɑː/) is the official press agency of the People's Republic of China. Xinhua is the biggest and most influential media organization in China. Xinhua is a ministry-level institution subordinate to the Chinese central government. Its president is a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Xinhua operates more than 170 foreign bureaus worldwide, and maintains 31 bureaus in China—one for each province, plus a military bureau. Xinhua is the sole channel for the distribution of important news related to the Communist Party and Chinese central government.
Xinhua is regarded as the most influential media outlet in China as almost every newspaper in China relies on Xinhua feeds for content. People's Daily, for example, uses Xinhua material for approximately 25 percent of its stories. Xinhua is a publisher as well as a news agency—it owns more than 20 newspapers and a dozen magazines, and it prints in eight languages: Chinese, English, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese, Arabic and Japanese.
China, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a sovereign state in East Asia. It is the world's most populous country, with a population of over 1.35 billion. The PRC is a one-party state governed by the Communist Party, with its seat of government in the capital city of Beijing. It exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces; five autonomous regions; four direct-controlled municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Chongqing); two mostly self-governing special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau); and claims sovereignty over Taiwan.
Covering approximately 9.6 million square kilometers, China is the world's second-largest country by land area, and either the third or fourth-largest by total area, depending on the method of measurement. China's landscape is vast and diverse, ranging from forest steppes and the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts in the arid north to subtropical forests in the wetter south. The Himalaya, Karakoram, Pamir and Tian Shan mountain ranges separate China from South and Central Asia. The Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, the third- and sixth-longest in the world, run from the Tibetan Plateau to the densely populated eastern seaboard. China's coastline along the Pacific Ocean is 14,500 kilometres (9,000 mi) long, and is bounded by the Bohai, Yellow, East and South China Seas.
A news agency is an organization that gathers news reports and sells them to subscribing news organizations, such as newspapers, magazines and radio and television broadcasters. A news agency may also be referred to as a wire service, newswire, or news service.
There are many news agencies around the world, but there are global news agencies with offices in most countries of the world and cover all areas of information: Agence France-Presse, Associated Press and Reuters. All three began with and continue to operate on a basic philosophy of providing a single objective news feed to all subscribers; they do not provide separate feeds for conservative or liberal newspapers. Jonathan Fenby explains the philosophy:
Only a few large newspapers could afford bureaus outside their home city. They relied instead on news agencies, especially Havas in France and the Associated Press in the United States. Former Havas employees founded Reuters in Britain and Wolff in Germany; Havas is now Agence France-Presse (AFP). For international news, the agencies pooled their resources, so that Havas, for example, covered the French Empire, South America and the Balkans and shared the news with the other national agencies. In France the typical contract with Havas provided a provincial newspaper with 1800 lines of telegraphed text daily, for an annual subscription rate of 10,000 francs. Other agencies provided features and fiction for their subscribers.
Chinese media has accused India with a racist video claiming India has committed "seven sins" at Doklam. But, here's why we think it's not the truth. The video has tampered with a lot of facts to show it the world claiming India is at fault and has indulged in illegal activities. So, we decided to reply with a small little video. Here's a fact check story as well which proves how each sin is wrong. http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/doklam-xinhua-video-china-india-bhutan-indian-army-pla/1/1027819.html Take a look at the video. The fuel for Luo Jun’s Xinhua News Agency editorials is her rage at injustice in all its forms – from official corruption in China to Western double standards. Luo, who manages Xinhua’s social media accounts after two years in London as a political correspondent for the agency, says she has seen official government cars parked outside of entertainment facilities in broad daylight and is aware of cases where money has bought power. For her, the person who embodies the true values of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is her grandfather, a CPC member and toy company manager who cared for others but was always strict with himself. China's 'Rejuvenation' Bullet Trains Are the World's Fastest. China was once home to the world's fastest trains, but that position was temporarily derailed in 2011, after a crash between two bullet trains killed 40 people and injured nearly 200 more, leading officials to scale back maximum train speeds from 350 km/h (217 mph) to 300 km/h (186 mph). But the country is getting back on track, as the next generation of bullet trains — said to be the world's fastest — began transporting passengers Monday (Aug. 21) on the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, according to the state-run Xinhua News Agency. Dubbed "Fuxing," which means "rejuvenation," the new high-speed trains are expected to expand service starting Sept. 21 to run between Beijing and Shanghai, traveling at speeds of up to 350...
(6 Nov 2016) Riot police were deployed in Hong Kong on Sunday as thousands of protesters marched to demand that China's central government stay out of a political dispute after Beijing indicated that it would intervene to deter pro-independence advocates. The dispute centres on a provocative display of anti-China sentiment by two newly elected pro-independence Hong Kong lawmakers at their swearing-in ceremony last month. China's top legislative panel said that Beijing must intervene in the dispute to deter advocates of independence for the city, calling their actions a threat to national security. The Standing Committee of China's rubber-stamp legislature, the National People's Congress, said in a statement that Beijing could not afford to do nothing in the face of challenges in Hong K...

Xinhua said, citing officials, that visitors shall enter the tourism zone without visas and shopping shall be duty-free. Xinhua said, citing Zhao Xiaojun, director of Jilin Provincial Tourism Administration, that in the long run, So...

The World Bank's latest quarterly update on China says, "The Chinese economy is in the midst of a gradual slowdown." Chinese gross domestic product is expected to expand just 8.2 percent in 2012 -- its lowest in 13 years. Many analysts say China has to allow more private investment if it's to find new sources for economic growth. But for this to happen, China will need considerable government reforms. The World Bank report says, "Despite continued net capital inflows, foreign exchange reserves will accumulate more slowly. The longer-term outlook will depend on how China manages key structural challenges." The state-run Xinhua News Agency reports the Chinese regime would give guidelines to encourage private investment across the sectors, particularly predominantly state-owned electricity...

The plan was announced by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Wednesday at the Third China (International) Commercial Aerospace Forum held in Wuhan, Hubei province. According to Xinhua News Agency, the hyper-flight network will be a new signature product for China, in addition to aerospace, high-speed rail, and nuclear power. Away i fall to you
To stay silent no more
Anyone with a clue wouldn't do as i've done
But the fear that you know is the fear you become to love
I want to say
I want to go
I'm so afraid
To be alone
All right, it's time for the truth
My love means more than i ever will
Anyone this confused needs someone show them the way to
If i just find the strength to forget myself
I want it all
I want nothing
I'm so afraid
I'm so afraid
I want to stay
I want to go
I'm so afraid
To be alone
Is this how my life is supposed to be
It's not enough, but too much for my heart to hold
Is this how my life is supposed to be
