Adam Gibson may refer to:
Adam (Hebrew: אָדָם; Aramaic/Syriac: ܐܕܡ; Arabic: آدم) is a figure from the Book of Genesis who is also mentioned in the New Testament, the deuterocanonical books, the Quran, the Book of Mormon, and the Book of Iqan. According to the creation myth of the Abrahamic religions, he was the first human.
In the Genesis creation narratives, he was created by Yahweh-Elohim ("Yahweh-God", the god of Israel), though the term "adam" can refer to both the first individual person, as well as to the general creation of humankind. Christian churches differ on how they view Adam's subsequent behavior of disobeying God (often called the Fall of man), and to the consequences that those actions had on the rest of humanity. Christian and Jewish teachings sometimes hold Adam and Eve (the first woman) to a different level of responsibility for the Fall, though Islamic teaching holds both equally responsible. In addition, Islam holds that Adam was eventually forgiven, while Christianity holds that redemption occurred only later through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The Bahá'í Faith, Islam and some Christian denominations consider Adam to be the first prophet.
Gibson Brands, Inc. (formerly Gibson Guitar Corp.) is an American manufacturer of guitars and other instruments, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. The company was formerly known as Gibson Guitar Corp. and renamed Gibson Brands, Inc. on June 11, 2013.
Orville Gibson founded the company in 1902 as The Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Mfg. Co., Ltd. in Kalamazoo, Michigan to make mandolin-family instruments. Gibson invented archtop guitars by constructing the same type of carved, arched tops used on violins. By the 1930s, the company was also making flattop acoustic guitars, as well as one of the first commercially available hollow-body electric guitars, used and popularized by Charlie Christian. It was bought by Chicago Musical Instruments in 1944, which was then acquired by the E.C.L. conglomerate that changed its name to Norlin Inc. Many observers see this as the beginning of an era of mismanagement.
Gibson sells guitars under a variety of brand names and builds one of the world's most iconic guitars, the Gibson Les Paul. Many Gibson instruments are highly collectible. Gibson was at the forefront of innovation in acoustic guitars, especially in the big band era of the 1930s; the Gibson Super 400 was widely imitated. In 1952, Gibson introduced its first solid-body electric guitar, the Les Paul which became its most popular guitar to date— designed by Ted McCarty and Les Paul.
The Adelaide 36ers (also well known as the Sixers) are an Australian professional men's basketball team that competes in the National Basketball League (NBL). The 36ers are the only team in the league representing the state of South Australia and are based in the state capital, Adelaide. The club was originally called the Adelaide City Eagles when they joined the NBL in 1982, but changed their name to the 36ers the following year. The 36ers nickname comes from the fact that the Colony of South Australia was officially proclaimed on 28 December 1836. They play their home games at the Titanium Security Arena in the suburb of Findon, known as the "Brett Maher Court" within the NBL.
The 36ers' tally of four championships is equal with Melbourne United and the New Zealand Breakers, and second only behind the Perth Wildcats as the most by any club in the NBL's history.
The Adelaide 36ers were born as the Adelaide City Eagles when they joined the NBL in 1982. Mike Osborne was appointed as team coach, Chris Stirling was captain and the team played out of the 3,000 seat Apollo Stadium. The Eagles performed well in their first season but missed the playoffs finishing in 7th place on the ladder with a 15–11 record. The championship was won that year by Adelaide's other NBL team at the time the West Adelaide Bearcats who featured future 36ers in 1982 NBL MVP Al Green, Moscow Olympian Peter Ali and veteran guard Ray Wood.

Plot: In the near future, cloning is now technically advanced, but human cloning is still illegal. Adam Gibson (Schwarzenegger) returns home after working with his friend Hank Morgan (Rapaport), only to find a clone of himself with his family. Before he has chance to find out the truth, he is attacked by a group who want him dead. Adam must escape and find out the truth from the creator of the clones, Michael Drucker (Goldwyn). Adam knows for sure he couldn't have been cloned, but isn't ready for what he's about to hear.

Genres: Documentary, Short,DeepLearning4j is an open source deep learning platform for the JVM focusing on data at scale and ease of use and maintainability. In this talk we will be covering the core architecture of deeplearning4j on Spark. This will cover the 3 core components of deeplearning4j: • A mini introduction to the scientific computing library nd4j (nd4j.org) • The core algorithms in deeplearning4j • Distributed Deep Learning, using Jeff Dean Style Parameter averaging Each part of the talk will involve brief live coding to demonstrate concepts and takeaways. We will end with a runtime comparison of MLlib and deeplearning4j on Spark. Adam Gibson is the co-founder of Skymind, an enterprise deep-learning and NLP firm, and creator of the distributed, open-source frameworks Deeplearning4j.org and ND...

He demos sentiment analysis and facial recognition tools. DL4J is a commercial-grade platform written in Java and compatible with Hadoop. Its neural nets work for image recognition, text analysis and speech-to-text. DL4J has implementations of such algorithms as binary and continuous restricted Boltzmann machines, deep-belief nets, denoising autoencoders, convolutional nets and recursive neural tensor networks. Users with a working knowledge of Java will be able to undertake anomaly/fraud detection, recommendation engines and social-media ranking systems, among ...
(This isn't a 'clip' per se, but whilst waiting to get around to making a proper one, this'll do). The final song on the album 'Australia Restless', this song was came about after reading the book 'Any Human Heart' by English author William Boyd. That book made me realise it was possible to tell a wider story of a time and a place through the people that lived through those times and those places. I long felt the desire to write something about the great roiling, rolling mess that I felt the 20th Century in Australia was ... from economic depressions, to devastating wars, to unbridled hope, to stunning desperation ... and all in between. The harshness of Australian life from the early years to the later more seemingly prosperous ones. I tried to find a way to do that ... and I feel I ...
