As we focus our work for greater impact centered on a small number of Big Bets and Enduring Commitments, additional MacArthur Awards for Creative and Effective Institutions will not be made at this time. We look forward to reinstating the program in the future. In the interim, we are applying what we have learned through 11 years of the Awards to institutional support grants provided as part our Chicago Commitment and other current areas of grantmaking.
