Limbang is a border town and the capital of Limbang District of northern Sarawak, East Malaysia, on the island of Borneo.
It is located on the banks of the Limbang River (Sungai Limbang in Malay), between the two halves of Brunei. It is at least a two-hour drive (depending on how busy the Customs/Immigration Checkpoint is) to Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei.
You can reach Limbang via Miri or Labuan. For the adventurous ones, you can walk to Mulu National Park via the so-called Headhunter's Trail.

Limbang
Limbang is a border town and the capital of Limbang District in the Limbang Division of northern Sarawak, East Malaysia, on the island of Borneo. The division has an area of 3,978.1 square kilometres, and a population (year 2000 census) of 42,600.
Limbang is located on the banks of the Limbang River (Sungai Limbang in Malay), between the two halves of Brunei. It is a 30-minute speedboat ride or at least a two-hour drive (depending on how busy the Customs/Immigration Checkpoint is) to Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei.
History
The Limbang District, which today is part of Sarawak, was originally part of the Sultanate of Brunei following the founding of the Bruneian Empire and remained so until the reign of Sultan Hashim. However, it was only after the signing of the Treaty of Protection of 1888 that Brunei lost control over the territory. This treaty eventually did not save Brunei from foreign intervention because the British did not prevent Charles Brooke from seizing Limbang in 1890. In 1901 and 1902, Brooke and Hewett asked Sultan Hashim to cede Belait and Tutong to them but Sultan Hashim refused and said, “What would happen to me, my chiefs and my descendants? I should be left like a tree, stripped of branches and twigs”.

Drag racing
Drag racing is a type of motor racing in which automobiles or motorcycles (usually specially prepared for the purpose) compete, usually two at a time, to be first to cross a set finish line. The race follows a short, straight course from a standing start over a measured distance, most commonly ¼ mile (1,320 ft (402 m)), with a shorter 3/16 mile 10 feet (1,000 ft (305 m)) used by nitromethane powered Top Fuel dragsters and funny cars along with some bracket races, while 660 ft (201 m) (1/8 mi) is also popular in some circles. Electronic timing and speed sensing systems have been used to record race results since the 1960s.
Drag racing has existed in both street racing and regulated motorsport forms since automobiles and motorcycles were developed. The street racing form, which is usually illegal, is covered elsewhere; this article covers the legal sport.
Basics of drag racing
Before each race (commonly known as a pass), each driver is allowed to perform a burnout, which heats the driving tires and lays rubber down at the beginning of the track, improving traction. Each driver then lines up (or stages) at the starting line.

The video is from our trip to Bandar Seri Begawan and Ulu Temburong National park in Brunei. It is a compilation of our experiences that we want to share with our friends and family and maybe those wanting to see/visit BSB and the National park. Tips for one day trip to Ulu Temburong National park: 1. have a good night sleep before the trip. It may get tiring (approx time from 7:45 to 16:00) 2. wear your swimming suits (this would be handy when at the waterfall). 3. have 2 pairs of shoes or only one pair if you don't mind them getting wet. One pair will get wet when going to the waterfall. You could also wear flip-flops, but it is not the most comfortable or safest way to walk. The first 5-10 min of the walk to the towers is muddy and slippery while the walkway to the waterfall has a lot...

The video is from our trip to Bandar Seri Begawan and Ulu Temburong National park in Brunei.
It is a compilation of our experiences that we want to share with our friends and family and maybe those wanting to see/visit BSB and the National park.
Tips for one day trip to Ulu Temburong National park:
1. have a good night sleep before the trip. It may get tiring (approx time from 7:45 to 16:00)
2. wear your swimming suits (this would be handy when at the waterfall).
3. have 2 pairs of shoes or only one pair if you don't mind them getting wet. One pair will get wet when going to the waterfall. You could also wear flip-flops, but it is not the most comfortable or safest way to walk. The first 5-10 min of the walk to the towers is muddy and slippery while the walkway to the waterfall has a lot of stones.
4. Do not take a big backpack with you. A small day pack would be perfect. Take only essentials like camera and a dry bag for it, small sunscreen, insect repellant, and water. You could also take a small travel towel to dry yourself if you are going to swim in the waterfall.
5. If your clothes get wet you can change them when you are back to the camp. If you do not like the feeling of wet clothes take something to change. Do not overpack.
