Pablo Moreno de Alborán Ferrándiz (born May 31, 1989 in Málaga) best known as Pablo Alborán is a Latin Grammy nominated Spanish singer.
Alborán, born in Málaga on May 31, 1989, is the son of Spanish architect Salvador Moreno de Alborán Peralta and French Elena Ferrándiz Martínez. He is also the great-grandson of Francisco Moreno Fernández, 1st Marquess of Alborán, and has two siblings: Casilda and Salvador.
From a very young age, he was interested in learning to play various musical instruments such as piano, classical guitar, flamenco guitar, and acoustic guitar, and attended singing lessons with professional artists in Málaga and Madrid.
In 2002, at the age of 12, he composed his first songs, "Amor de Barrio" (Neighbourhood Love) and "Desencuentro" (Disagreement) which would be featured 10 years later on his debut album. In Málaga he performed for the first time with a Flamenco band in a restaurant, and he was nicknamed El Blanco Moreno (The White Moreno), because he "was very pale-skinned and Moreno was my family name", as he stated in an interview in early 2011. Later, Pablo met producer Manuel Illán and recorded a demo, which included a cover of "Deja de Volverme Loca" (Stop Driving Me Crazy) by Diana Navarro. Upon hearing this recording, Navarro expressed great interest in Alborán and became his musical mentor.
Jesse & Joy is a Latin Grammy Award–winning Mexican pop duo formed in 2005 by brother and sister Jesse (born December 31, 1982, as Jesse Eduardo Huerta) and Joy (born June 20, 1986, as Tirzah Joy Huerta), from Mexico City.
Their parents are from Mexico City (D.F.) and USA (Mexican father and American mother). In 2001, when they were 18 and 15 years of age, they began writing lyrics and songs with their father. They were signed under the Warner label on April 18, 2005. Jesse plays the piano, the guitar, and sings the chorus of the songs. Joy plays the guitar and is the lead voice. Their first appearance was on the Teletón-Mexico in 2005 when the Mexican-Argentine duo Sin Bandera presented them to the Mexican audience. This was followed by James Blunt's showcase tour in Mexico.[citation needed]
"Espacio Sideral" was the first single to be taken from their first album and went to #1 on many radio stations. A video for the single was produced in Argentina and first shown on MTV on June 27, 2007. The second single was "Ya No Quiero", and the third "Volveré". Jesse & Joy were nominated in the MTV Video Music Awards Latin America in the category of Promising Artist (Artista Prometedor). Other nominees were the Argentine singer Axel Fernando, the Puerto Rican alternative-reggaetón duo Calle 13, the Colombian singer and Grammy Award–winning Fonseca and the Mexican rock group División Minúscula.

Alejandro Sanz (born Alejandro Sánchez Pizarro on December 18, 1968) is a Spanish singer-songwriter and musician. For his work, Sanz has won a total of fifteen Latin Grammy Awards and three Grammy Awards. He has won the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year three times, more than any other artist. Throughout his career, he has released a total of ten studio albums and six DVDs. The singer is noted for his flamenco-influenced ballads, but he has also experimented with rock, salsa, and hip hop.
Born in Madrid, Sanz began playing guitar at age seven, taking influence from his family's flamenco roots. He released his debut album at age sixteen, although he did not gain commercial success until his second release, Viviendo Deprisa. His next two records, Si Tú Me Miras and 3 also fared well commercially, but it was his 1997 breakthrough album Más that garnered international success. El Alma al Aire followed in 2000, selling more than a million copies in its first week.
In 2002, he became the first Spanish artist to record an MTV Unplugged album. His collaboration with Shakira on the single "La Tortura" reached number one on several charts worldwide. His albums No Es lo Mismo (2003) and El Tren de los Momentos (2006) showed Sanz experimenting with more diverse styles of music, while his most recent release, Paraíso Express (2009) served as a return to form for the musician. He signed to Universal Music Group in 2011 and is reported to be working on his tenth studio album.
