Peggy Lee (May 26, 1920 January 21, 2002) was an American jazz and popular music singer, songwriter, composer and actress in a career spanning nearly seven decades. From her beginnings as a vocalist on local radio, to singing with Benny Goodman's big band, she was forging her own sophisticated persona, Lee evolved into a multi-faceted artist and performer. She wrote music for films, acted, and created conceptual record albums -- encompassing poetry, jazz, chamber pop, art songs, and other genres.
Johnny Guitar (1954) is a Republic Pictures western film starring Joan Crawford, Sterling Hayden, Mercedes McCambridge, and Scott Brady.
"Johnny Guitar" is actually based on a novel by Roy Chanslor and is undisputedly the granddaddy of the Female Western Film, because it proudly serves as the original prototype of this genre. It's also a little known-fact that there really was a real Johnny "Guitar!" Johnny "Guitar" Watson was a well-known musician, who adopted his moniker after he saw Sterling Hayden play the title-role. Although, that's really where the similarities end.
The great score by Victor Young is probably the most romantic and sentimental music ever composed for the screen, with the Johnny Guitar theme, with the voice of Peggy Lee, bringing us the fascination of the legend they called Johnny Guitar.

Forging
Forging is a manufacturing process involving the shaping of metal using localized compressive forces. The blows are delivered with a hammer (often a power hammer) or a die. Forging is often classified according to the temperature at which it is performed: cold forging (a type of cold working), warm forging, or hot forging (a type of hot working). For the latter two, the metal is heated, usually in a forge. Forged parts can range in weight from less than a kilogram to hundreds of metric tons. Forging has been done by smiths for millennia; the traditional products were kitchenware, hardware, hand tools, edged weapons, and jewellery. Since the Industrial Revolution, forged parts are widely used in mechanisms and machines wherever a component requires high strength; such forgings usually require further processing (such as machining) to achieve a finished part. Today, forging is a major worldwide industry.
History
Forging is one of the oldest known metalworking processes. Traditionally, forging was performed by a smith using hammer and anvil, though introducing water power to the production and working of iron in the 12th century drove the hammer and anvil into obsolescence. The smithy or forge has evolved over centuries to become a facility with engineered processes, production equipment, tooling, raw materials and products to meet the demands of modern industry.

I forge a Viking Arm ring in this video! Got a rather nasty scale burn on this one but that wont stop me. Pain is all in the mind. :) These arm rings are for sale. The price is 30$ + shipping. Contact me and we can set something up. Arm rings were very important to the Vikings, they signified a coming of age for Viking boys and were a cherished possession given to them by their Jarl. They were typically ornate, gold or silver wrapped around an iron core. In return for this gift the boy would swear allegiance to the Jarl. There is much more to learn about arm rings I definitely recommend reading up on them. Viking culture is bloody cool. I forge a Viking Arm ring in this video! Got a rather nasty scale burn on this one but that wont stop me. Pain is all in the mind. :) These arm rings are for sale. The price is 30$ + shipping. Contact me and we can set something up. Arm rings were very important to the Vikings, they signified a coming of age for Viking boys and were a cherished possession given to them by their Jarl. They were typically ornate, gold or silver wrapped around an iron core. In return for this gift the boy would swear allegiance to the Jarl. I forge a Viking Arm ring in this video! Got a rather nasty scale burn on this one but that wont stop me. Pain is all in the mind. :)
These arm rings are for sale. The price is 30$ + shipping.

Arm rings were very important to the Vikings, they signified a coming of age for Viking boys and were a cherished possession given to them by their Jarl. They were typically ornate, gold or silver wrapped around an iron core. In return for this gift the boy would swear allegiance to the Jarl. There is much more to learn about arm rings I definitely recommend reading up on them.
Viking culture is bloody cool.
I am just learning, if you see something i could have done better please let me know in the comments below so myself and other people learning can gain from your knowledge.
