Plot: You're driving in your car and you, out of the goodness of your heart, step on the brakes to graciously allow another car to cut in front of you. You are not expecting a medal of honor or a round of applause but would it kill the driver of the car to give you a simple thank you wave? It's the right thing to do. Yet, some folks don't give much thought to "the right thing to do." That's alright, because Karma is gonna get them. And we're not talking figuratively. Karma, with her blonde hair, peasant skirt and sweet tooth. Karma, she, the entity in a physical body, on this planet, standing there, sticking out her magic tongue - is gonna get you. Karma is here - and she's p***ed.

There is no joy in Louisville. Mighty Zenyatta got beat in her last at bat. The storybook finish did not include a photo. Zenyatta, seeking her 20th victory without a defeat, came up just short of catching Blame in a dramatic running of the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday at Churchill Downs, falling short by a head after closing furiously from far back. Zenyatta, a badly trailing last in the field of 12 during the early going -- officially 15 lengths behind after a half-mile -- came with a powerful late surge after knifing through traffic a quarter-mile out, but Blame ($12.40) stubbornly held her off, ending her unbeaten career, breaking the hearts of the thousands of fans who packed this track to support her, and likely deciding the Horse of the Year title by the length...

Breeders' Cup Classic winner Blame arrives at Claiborne Farm on Friday, Nov. 12.
Jamie Cullum and Martin Taylor live on BBC Proms 2010.
In a battle of the two highest-ranked male handicap horses in the nation, Blame closed relentlessly through the lane to nab front-running Quality Road by a head in a thrilling Whitney Invitational Handicap (gr. I) at Saratoga Aug. 7. Rallying from fourth for jockey Garrett Gomez in the 1 1/8-mile main track test, Blame was able to wear down Quality Road at the wire even though the 1-2 favorite was able to dictate an easy pace in the $750,000 event. The final time was 1:48.88 over a fast track. Musket Man, who challenged Quality Road in the stretch as well, held on for third. Albert Stall Jr. trains Blame, a 4-year-old son of Arch --Liable, by Seeking the Gold, for co-owners and breeders Adele Dilschneider and Claiborne Farm. http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/58285/blame...

I heard there's a place
Where men traded worlds
And the debts were paid off
With our lives
And the eyes of the innocent went blind
When the concrete mountains fell from the sky
If you let freedom ring, will they hear it
If you let freedom ring, will they care
If you let freedom ring, will they accept it
If you let freedom ring, will they dare
We're to blame
We're to... blame
When freedom rings are we deaf and dumb
With arrogance we act surprised
We police the world
And we cheat out the deprived
A deserved tragedy
That we had coming
And the price you'll pay
