Summary for our internationalist comrades G20-Repression – Germany

Prisoners * Conditions in the prison * Trials * Video- and Photo publications * Houseraids

The g20 summit and the euphoric days in the streets of the Schanzenviertel were shaped by the massive anger and motivation to attack, which we did not expect since Heiligendamm and Frankfurt. The wave of repression that followed afterwards, and actually had already started before the summit with the implementation of the new §114ff and preventive policing, reached its climax with the publication of dozens of mug shots, by the special commission „Soko Schwarzer Block“ on December 18th, 2017.
The wave of repression, remained rather unnoticed from comrades in other countries who fought with us on the streets and euphoricly followed the riots in the media. They told us, that they did not recieve any information on the prisonors, the sentenced and the persecution mania by the state.

Part I: Prisoners

The situation in december 2017
The cops implemented a 40 man strong Soko, which searched the internet for pictures and videos, in order to further criminalise activists. About 200 cops are currently sitting in front of their computers, watching special face detection softwares do most of the investigation work. Even when you think, you have nothing to hide or you are sure, you always changed in a dark alley: Solidarity doesn‘t just start, when the repression hits you or your friends. The state, including the media, cops and active citizens, is clearly trying to redefine the riots. We managed to dominate the discurs of these days during the summit, but we have to recognise that in the face of brutal sentences, denunciations and public agitation, we are being pushed back into a position of simply reacting: Day X demos, prison ralleys and a couple of broken windows here and there.
Prisoners and the trials: After the three days of riots in Hamburg, 51 people had been taken into custody. Ultimatly 28 remained in the JVA Billwerder, Hanhöfersand and Holstenglacis until their trials. Being mainly non german, the prisoners came from the Netherlands, France, Siwtzerland, Austria, Spain, Italy, Poland, Hungary and Russia. Additionally several houndred people had to stay in the GeSa (custody) for a short time and had to give their fingerprints and pictures.

Santiago, Chile: Incendiary Attack Against a Transantiago Bus by Weichafe Matías Catrileo Autonomous Group

Received and translated by Insurrection News on 19.01.18:
It is always time for the attack, but we are not indifferent to the current scenario…while society rejoices seduced by the Papal visit and atones for their sins in the anxiety of waiting, we claim the adventure of direct action.
Arriving on the night of January 10, with autonomous desires in place, we left an incendiary device on a Route 01 Transantiago bus, activating it in the vicinity of Franklin and San Francisco streets. At the moment that the fire began to spread, the sheep driver suffocated it with a fire extinguisher, burning only the rear of this transport symbol of the commercial logic, delegator of times and pulses, adapting the daily to a more narrow social control, providing the comforts that are typical of an alienating culture. However, our actions violate these times, these comforts by choosing with horizontality and without leaders where and when to do and undo the black intentions of permanent conflict against everything that is positioned as authority.

Italy –SARDEGNA ANARCHICA [Anarchist Sardinia], a new anarchist website

SARDIGNA: a new anarchist website, inter-nationalist, Anarchism – Pockets of Resistance – Liberation Struggles – Struggle for National Liberation
The project:
Sardegna Anarchica wants to be no more than an instrument of communication for the SARDINIAN anarchist galaxy, on what happens in Sardinia as well as in the opposite ends of the globe. In other words, a container of news and analyses, direct actions and possible claims, a list of addresses of revolutionary anarchist prisoners.
This project would like to meet the necessity of an instrument that puts together news, ideas and analyses coming from anarchist, antiauthoritarian, power-immune contexts in the widest and most complete way possible. Starting from the Sardinian context, but without neglecting the international one of course; one of the few advantages given by the paroxysmal search for global information is the discovery that also on the other side of the planet there are hearts that beat at the same rhythm as ours and which arm hands capable of doing far more than typing on a keyboard. The race towards the abyss of technological society is becoming increasingly frenetic, but fighters all over the world are keeping the pace, and even if they risk being crushed by such a gigantic monster they try to hamper it and knock it to the ground.
Starting from these premises, we hope a real debate will emerge, a debate that never falls into partisan misery, but  is so alive that it flares up to the point of conflict, for we are tired of a tepid possibilist ‘everything is all right’, because we can grow together through debate.
The choice of using the network to communicate has been made in the awareness of the limits involved in the use of the web: this site doesn’t want and can’t be the definite answer to a growing need for communication between anarchists in Sardinia, but is an attempt to give one more instrument for the time being.
The site is still going through a trial stage.

Italy – Updates on the deported Sardinian anarchist prisoner Davide Delogu

From a telegram we received on 15/01/2018 we learn that the censorship office has been accumulating books sent in over 8 months, which they are not giving him. He has only received two bulletins.
He sends hugs to all comrades who unconditionally struggle with dignity on both sides of the walls.

Trento, Italy – “Spies at work” – Poster of 23rd January’s initiative concerning the bugs recently found in Trento

SPIES AT WORK
For almost thirty years, amidst investigations being opened and closed (often without the investigated ones even knowing about it), we can say that anarchists from Trento and Rovereto have been systematically spied on. Of course they were and are not the only ones, considering the omnipresence of electronic surveillance. But various investigations against anarchists, quite poor in judicial results, served to control those who disturb power’s plans in a more selective and shameless way. Bugs in homes, self-managed places, cars have been found many times since the end of the nineties. Not to mention landlines and mobile phones under control and cameras in front of houses. On one occasion a bug was found in none the less than a rucksack. For the operation ‘Ixodidae’ (which in 2012 led to the arrest of two anarchists and later to a trial against eight comrades accused of ‘subversive association with intents of terrorism’, which ended in nothing), Trento prosecutors had spent over a million euros for video and audio tapping.
Bugs with GPS have also been recently found in two cars. But obviously all this isn’t enough for Digos and ROS carabinieri (and the prosecutors who give them authorization, if there is any). Rebel life must be spied on minute after minute.  So last week a micro camera was found in the kitchen-living room in a comrades’ home. A step not to be overlooked.
Privacy – not only that concerning words but also bodies and gestures – turned into material for investigation to be set up and dismantled at their leisure.
We don’t want to resigned to the Big Brother (we don’t mean the TV show).
We don’t think the problem is only ours’, but it is everyone’s.
It is necessary to react to these attacks on freedom with solidarity.
It is necessary to say to spies and their filthy manoeuvres, strong and clear,
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Italy , Sardinia – Bugs in Cagliari

In mid-November bugs were found in two comrades’ cars. The microphones were placed under the upholstery of the car roof, where the windscreen and the sunshields are (so take a look there, you can’t feel them from outside, so you have to slip your hand between the roof and the cardboard to which the upholstery is attached). In one case the power cables reached beneath the wheel, in the other they were attached to the car lights. Both bugs were equipped with GPS trackers.

La Florida, Chile: Incendiary / Explosive Attack Against a Catholic Sanctuary by Anticlerical Incendiary Cell ‘Hortensia Quinio’ FAI-FRI

Received and translated by Insurrection News on 18.01.18:
We claim responsibility for the incendiary / explosive device that was left at one of the entrances to the sanctuary of the Apostolistic Movement of Schoenstatt, located in the commune of La Florida, this action was taken on the night of January 15th, the day of Pope Francis’ arrival in Chile.
With our action we reaffirm the fight against the authority of the Catholic Church, an institution whose organisms and representatives have historically exercised repression over bodies, the imposition of roles, the manipulation of minds and the spiritual monopoly that castrates the liberty of individuals.
Accomplices of massacre, persecution and genocides throughout world history, the Catholic Church and its Papacy are a pillar of civilized dominance and of colonialism in the territory called ‘Latin America’.
The Apostolistic Movement of Schoenstatt, founded in Germany in 1941 by the priest Joseph Kentenich, who personally established the movement in Chile in 1949, is without doubt an important enclave and point of reference for the conservative Chilean business elite.
Through their network of schools, the Schoenstatt Fathers educate more than 6000 boys and girls in Chile with a value matrix that represses sexual freedom, condemns abortion and strongly defends the hegemony of the institution-contract of hetrosexual marriage.

Italy – The Italian government’s politics in Libya

What is happening off the coast and inside the Libyan territory is truly exemplary of the vile times in which we are living.
With the shameless pretext of the ‘struggle against human traffickers’, the Italian State is lavishly financing war lords, guards and militias (those clumsily defined as the ‘Libyan government’) for the control and mass internment of the poor in flight. Patrols and refusal of entry along the Mediterranean coast, the detention of about six hundred thousand people in the Libyan concentration camps, the erection of a wall in the desert along the borders with Niger, Chad and Mali. The very militias that for months have enriched themselves with the journeys of desperation are now being paid to prevent them from happening. These are the very militias entrusted by ENI with the armed defence of its oilfields. Torture, violence and rape are being perpetrated in the thirty-four concentration camps every day. The important thing is that unrequested human merchandise doesn’t come to upset the dreams of order and security in Italy and Europe. The rest is none of our business, is it? After all, haven’t similar agreements also been made with Erdogan’s Turkey?
The ‘reconstruction’ that the democrats are now announcing in Libya in exchange fo

Melbourne, Australia: Banner Action in Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoner Lisa

On 15 January 2018, a group of anarchists in Narrm (so-called Melbourne, Australia), undertook a solidarity statement effort in support of our anarchist comrade, “Aachen Lisa”, who is serving seven and a half years imprisonment in Germany for a bank expropriation in the city of Aachen. At a prominent tourist attraction, St. Patrick’s Cathoholic Cathedral (the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, and seat of its archbishop, Denis Harta), we displayed a banner reading “Seditious solidarity with ‘Aachen Lisa’. Uncompromising resistance to patriarchy, church, capital, and state!”. We then hung the banner in a predominant and highly visible position on the gates of the State Parliament House.
Although we extend solidarity to all of our incarcerated anarchist comrades; women anarchists who dare to undertake illegalist / insurrectionist direct actions, hold a special place in our hearts. We send our strongest love, respect, and solidarity to our jailed sister women anarchists- your praxis inspires our imaginations and feeds our strength and inspiration to undermine and sabotage existing oppressive State structures.

Leipzig, Germany – Incendiary attack on the State’s forces of repression (31/12/2017)

Our flames against their repression!
As in many places they were celebrating the new year with uproar, drinking a toast till exhaustion, repeating promises and wishes, as if all the shit of the past could be simply swept away by a glass of wine, we had our fireworks: taking advantage of the occasion we went to the Witzgallstraße area, loaded with incendiary devices, and gave our wishes of a happy new year to cops and prosecutors. In this place the authorities of repression join forces to reintegrate young “criminals” in “the best of the worlds”, the system and its logic of exploitation.
In recent months we experienced the bases of this society: many things happened, which we lived with much discomfort, anger and incomprehension. On the one hand – just to make some examples:
— the new reform which further reduces refugees’ rights, already pretty much inhuman
— the new law concerning cops and their being armed
— the acknowledgment of AfD and a society increasingly right wing
— the G20 and its consequences: campaign of defamation and slander, raids, manhunt, public publication of arrest warrants, an attempt at creating divisions, dissociations…

Basile,Switzerland – Job centre attacked (31/12/2017)

Anyone who doesn’t let himself/herself be exploited enough is isolated and inflicted more and more pressure.
Unemployment allowances and other social allowances are granted only to those who submit themselves: through sanctions and disciplinary measures, people are being watched, humiliated and compelled to accept precarious jobs.
The increase in “flexibility” and “self-optimisation” means more profits for some on the one hand and precarious jobs for the majority on the other. The fact that people fall into financial troubles is wrongfully attributed to individual incapacity. This makes fundamental critique and resistance difficult.
As a consequence we destroyed the glass of the entrance to a job centre in Kleinbasel on New Year’s Eve.
We hope the action will cheer up someone in the next days.
For a new year in the struggle!

Germany: RWE Compound Sabotaged

HIT REPORT!
4th January, Hambacher Forest.
anonymous report:
“2018 has begun – RWE are smashed!
We are a group of autonomous anarchists. We are nature defending itself, acting to protect the Hambacher Forest and the world from RWE and capitalism.
In this action, an area of RWE was destroyed. The area was previously part of the forest. RWE cut all the trees, destroyed the habitat of the living beings, built new structures, fenced it off, and observed it with cameras. These structures would help them to destroy the rest (226 hectares) of the 12,000 year old forest (originally 5500 hectares) for their profit with lignite/browncoal, which produces 90 million tons of CO2 per year. The area was fenced, with infrared cameras and alarm system guarded. In it were material containers and a generator. As partially readable in the police report, the fences were removed and the generator destroyed. Also attention was donated to the containers.
This area was opened by us again and given back to the forest. The material they used to kill the forest is now being used to protect the forest. The structures inside are no longer available to RWE, so they cannot use them to destroy the forest further. We left messages to RWE, expressing our feelings towards them.

Germany: Society has failed – Fire and Flames to Repression!

We have 2018 already and our friends and comrades remain in pre-trial imprisonment since the g20 summit. The image of the violent dangerous perpetrators is still stylized. Brutal Police assaults before, during and after the G20 summit are played down and supposed to be forgotten. The myth of civil war-like conditions in Schanzen district persists in public view and helpfully provide the court with a basis for their arguments to impose absurdly high sentences. This is to distract attention from the idea of the G20 to take place as a counterinsurgency exercise in the field of urban space. The strategy and escalation concept of the cops could only fail.
The “independent” judiciary goes all out in its interpretation of their laws to impose draconian punishments like Peike’s. He has been in custody since July 6th and for bad luck got the judge Krieten, who sentenced him to 2 years 7 months. Peike however filed an appeal which will start in February. Also various other appeal proceedings will start soon.

France: Common press release from the anti-airport movement following the government’s announcement

Common press release from the anti-airport movement following the government’s announcement
At lunchtime today, the government finally announced that the airport project located in Notre-Dame-des-Landes has been abandoned.
We do note that the “DUP” will not be extended. The project will definitely be null and void by February the 8th.
This is an historical victory against a destructive project. This was made possible thanks to a long mobilisation that has been both diverse and determined.
First of all, we’d like to sincerely thank everyone that mobilised against this airport project over the past 50 years.
As regard to the future of the ZAD, the whole movement would like to confirm the following points:
– The need for the farmers and people that were expropriated to recover their rights as soon as possible
– the refusal of any eviction of those who came here over the last few years to live and defend the place, and who wish to continue living here and look after the area.

France -Understanding and criticizing school and its world: school and “freedom of speech”Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 17h at the Fleurs Arctiques.

For as long as it has existed as an institution, school has been at the service of the management of the needs of the State and capital. It qualifies when there is a need for qualification, dequalifies when it is necessary to lower the cost of labour, and always teaches obedience and domesticates the savagery of childhood by integrating, whether by caning or alternative pedagogies, the need to accept this world and aspire to succeed. It is also the place where the possibility of revolt and refusal is played out, is always inevitably in crisis, traversed with tensions and contradictions inherent in this factory for the management of the unmanageable. From kindergarten to university, what goes on there, the relationships, the way adults, children, teenagers interact reflects this fundamental function.
If yesterday’s school was the object of criticism which had its relevance and has been partially integrated (thus deactivated) in the school of today, school today just seems to leave those who are nevertheless aware of the disaster helpless. We are offended by various details without finding the means to question them, or even simply describe the reality of what is at stake.

France,Saint-Etienne: Sabotage against increased parking charges

France Blue Saint-Etienne-Loire / Monday, January 8, 2018
The 22 ticket machines of Crêt-de-Roc were vandalized in Saint-Étienne. The slots for the introduction of coins or blue cards were filled with expansive polyurethane foam. This product swells and hardens and is used to plug holes. The ticket machines are unusable. The City of Saint-Etienne complained and hopes the parking meters will be working again as soon as possible.
In this district of Crêt-de-Roc the contestation against the new parking plan is lively: here many free places have become paying since January 1st. A petition has been launched by residents of the neighbourhood to denounce this new organization.

France,Besançon: Revolutionary solidarity with the comrade incarcerated in Cologne

In the night from Thursday to Friday, in the vicinity of the TGV station, we hung a banner in solidarity with Lisa, the comrade imprisoned in Cologne for a bank robbery in Aachen, Germany.
On the banner you can read “Revolutionary Solidarity with Lisa, anarchist incarcerated for a bank robbery in Aachen (Germany).
Feuer allen Knästen (Fire to all prisons) (A) “.
Lisa has been denied her request for a review of sentence (to 7 and a half years’ prison) and to be transferred to a prison in Spain, in order to be less distant from those close to her. This news has made us angry and we do not intend to leave her alone in morbid silence of prison isolation.
Freedom for Lisa!
Freedom for all!

Italy,Napoli : Update on the Repression Against Anarchists in Naples

The pacification of political movements has led to the almost total disappearance from our society of any revolutionary aspiration, replaced with a frenetic rush to occupy the warm and comfortable seats that power offers. This has led to a fierce struggle, often without quarter, to follow the current politician, who is raised to rank of political revolutionary in order to guarantee ‘antagonistic’ politicians an area of political acceptability within the institutions. As a result we witness the voluntary cancellation of any form of opposition in favor of cooperation and often collaboration with a political system that until recently was considered hostile. All these elements represent tangible facts that have negative reprecussions on what remains of the revolutionary or insurrectionary movement, if you prefer.
In a similar context, the last pockets of resistance, those who persist in considering the destruction of this political and economic system as unavoidable, are able to be identified and attacked more easily by the repressive apparatus of the state.
The huge amount of resources that the police and magistracy are able to call upon can be used entirely and with minimal resistance to annihilate a social enemy that now have increasingly reduced spaces to maneuver in.
Specifically, the anarchist movement is the one that is hardest hit by this repressive attack launched by the state. All this has been made possible by the widescale use of so-called criminal association laws that have continuously been adapted to the socio-political structure of the movement.
