Ibrahim and Kadijah were placed in significant jeopardy for failing to obtain marriage contract, and suffered anxiously under the weight of application procedures.
UNDP’s Funding Facility for Stabilization is working with local contractors to restore 2,100 houses in Bartela as part of ongoing stabilization efforts. Work is almost complete on the badly damaged house that Muneer Bahnom and his wife Sabeeha once called home.
The Netherlands has contributed an additional US$ 14.2 million (€12 million) to UNDP’s Funding Facility for Stabilization (FFS), which finances fast-track initiatives to stabilize areas liberated from ISIL.

The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany has contributed an additional US$ 94 million (€80 million) to two major UNDP programmes that are helping to stabilize newly liberated areas.
