Plot: Benson, is a Casanova who despises women and invents all sorts of tricks to bed them and leave them. His favorite one is going through Germany posing as an American GI of Teunonic extraction. Whenever he spots a girl he likes, he takes a Polarod picture of her house, knocks on the door waving the photo and pretending to be on a pilgrimage to this very cottage his grandmother so vividly described. It is an infallible system for a hit-and-run seduction. Benson seems content with his game until he meets Jamison, a real operator who has learned to combine sex with money. Jamison poses as an exiled prince and not only gets women to share his bed but also to bestow their jewels on him for the sake of the counterrevolution. Commander Clint Reed, a doctor with the U.S. Public Health Service, diagnoses a highly contagious disease, pneumonic plague. He tries to convince local officials to find everyone who may have been in contact with the dead man. The Mayor supports his efforts but many, including the police, are doubtful. Reed wants to avoid publicity so as not to panic the public. They have little information to go on - they don't know the dead man's identity - and Reed estimates they have 48 hours before disease begins to spread. With police Capt. Tom Warren going through the motions, Reed sets out to find the killers.

Jorg Dubin began to create artwork depicting the Marine Corps Air Station at El Toro when the military base transitioned from an operational air station to a decommissioned facility. Dubin's paintings, done in the style of the California painting movement called plein air, captured the period when the developed base was being reclaimed by nature.

A Dubin's car is a special car-like robot that can only move forward in a 2d plane. Therefore, solving for its shortest paths is relatively easy. I've published a fairly extensive guide on the geometry behind computing these paths on my blog here: http://gieseanw.wordpress.com/2012/10/21/a-comprehensive-step-by-step-tutorial-to-computing-dubins-paths/
The most amazing thing is that when you talk to IE Strategy & Human Resources Prof. Ken Dubin the first thing you notice is that he is supremely competent when talking about serious stuff. Then, as soon as the conversation turns to other matters, serious or not, you realize that he continues to be extremely competent as well as displaying an incredibly serious ironic sense of humour!! He says that the projects that get him up in the morning are those promoting networks that are both curiously inventive and collectively reflective. And those projects can be anywhere. In this video he talks about The Silicon Fen and asks himself the question of how could Cambridge, a sleepy, if brilliant college town, become a world center of applied scientific innovation? Talent attracts talent –he says.
Thirteen years ago, Eva Dubin, a longtime physician and philanthropist based in New York City, was diagnosed with breast cancer. After an intense period of recovery, Dubin decided with her husband to dedicate their resources to creating the Dubin Breast Center, a facility that would offer holistic healing, research, breast surgery, and oncology. Over the past five years, the center has grown into one of the most cutting-edge treatment and research centers in the country. In this interview with Sonima founder, Sonia Jones, Dubin explains the origins and mission of the center. Despite a long and sometimes tragic history of invasion and resistance, this thriving business capital has poetry, music and literature percolating through its cobblestones. Dubliner, Oscar Wilde once said “life is too important to be taken seriously.” While Dublin proudly honours its past, it is equally passionate about enjoying each and every new day. Nowhere is life celebrated more than in the city’s nearly 700 pubs. Nothing matters more to Dubliners than having a good time or, as locals call it, the craic. Of all the gifts, Dublin has given to the world, perhaps the most intoxicating are its stories. Originally built for the sons of the Irish gentry, the ivy-covered stone buildings of Trinity College are home to some of the oldest remaining manuscripts in the world, including the 100...

Travel video about destination Dublin in Ireland. Dublin is the capital of the Irish Republic and is a city of musicians, poets and dreamers. Its Georgian buildings, whisky distilleries and historic castles are tangible and colorful reminders of bygone times. Numerous well preserved buildings, cafes, churches and idyllic canals also add to the captivating atmosphere of this fun loving city. One of the city's main landmarks is a splendid structure, Halfpenny Bridge, which derived its name due to a toll that was once extracted from those who crossed it. Dublin Castle is one of the city's oldest buildings. It has seen much transformation and is a combination of several building styles. After the Vikings, the Normans conquered the city and ruled over it for 700 years and under King Henry VI...

A small capital with a huge reputation, Dublin's mix of heritage and hedonism will not disappoint. All you have to do is show up. Layers of History Dublin has been in the news since the 9th century, and while traces of its Viking past have been largely washed away, the city is a living museum of its history since then, with medieval castles and cathedrals on display alongside the architectural splendours of its 18th-century heyday, when Dublin was the most handsome Georgian city of the British Empire and a fine reflection of the aspirations of its most privileged citizens. How power was wrested from their hands is another story, and you'll learn that one in its museums and on its walking tours. Personality Goes A Long Way Dubliners will admit theirs isn't the prettiest city, but will re...
