What We Do
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN's global development network, advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. UNDP is present in Belarus since 1992. UNDP’s mandate in the country is determined by the Agreement between the Government of Belarus and UNDP of 24 September 1992, which requires UNDP “to support and supplement the national efforts at solving the most important problems of its economic development and to promote social progress and better standards of life”.
Our Goals
Working on a local and regional level, engagement of the private sector and facilitating public-private partnerships opens new opportunities for establishing cooperation and creating linkages between relevant experts, communities of practitioners, local authorities etc on a horizontal level.

Stop TB Strategy with a focus on taking measures to combat multidrug resistant tuberculosis
The Project is financed by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The main goal of the project is to reduce prevalence of tuberculosis in Belarus by means of scaling up measures to combat MDR-TB as well as reduce TB incidence rate and associated mortality rates.more
