    Btw look who is penning the article, she was tortured in October 2008, n SC orders enquiry in 2014 August, articles mentions the issue selectively, she had immediately mentioned about torture to a court in Mumbai in Oct 2008 n basis that Advani n Rajnath had issued statement.

    Good work by our colleagues in Mumbai Mirror! The National Human Rights Commission had found no evidence of any torture of Pragya Singh Thakur in custody.

    Pragya Thakur neither spoke about nor questioned the Ashok Chakra that he got in a terror attack. She spoke about what he allegedly did much before that. Which law teaches that a gallantry award washes away all previous sins/crimes?

    Ashok Chakra awardee late Sri Hemant Karkare, IPS made the supreme sacrifice fighting terrorists. Those of us in uniform condemn the insulting statement made by a candidate and demand that sacrifices of all our martyrs be respected.

    My full respect to Hemant Karkare... But I am not convinced of he being given gallantry award Ashok Chakra? I think he was was killed in a chance encounter with terrorists.. Where was act of Gallantry? I can not forget he torturing Col Purohit?

    As flights have stopped operation, other low cost airlines are taking undue advantage. Ahmedabad to Delhi flight costing Rs 5-6K before is costing Rs 21K now. Consumers are being fleeced. Govt must act.
