Franz Stephani (1842–1927) was a German bryologist specializing in liverworts. This botanist is denoted by the author abbreviation Steph. when citing a botanical name.
Stephani was born in Berlin, Province of Brandenburg, in 1842. He attended and graduated from the Königliches Gymnasium, whereupon he began training to be a businessman in the wool-spinning industry. He worked both in a toy shop, and in a publishing house. In 1869, he married Marie Kell, daughter of the novelist Julius Kell and had two children. By the age of 34, Stephani began publishing papers on the subject of liverworts. He never attended university, and it is not known how his interest in bryology was sparked.
Stephani is most remembered for his Species Hepaticarum, a six-volume attempt to catalog all of the world's species of liverworts and hornworts. In 1894 Stephani met with M. W. Barbey-Boissier, son-in-law of Edmond Boissier and owner of the Barbey-Boissier Herbarium in Geneva. In 1897 the Herbarium concluded an agreement with Stephani, by which they would publish Species Hepaticarum. Stephani in turn bequeathed them his herbarium, drawings, library, notes and scientific correspondence. The first editions of the work appeared in 1898, in the Bulletin de l'Herbier Boissier, and the final volume 27 years later, in 1925.

Curry is the son of former NBA player Dell and older brother of current NBA player Seth. He played college basketball for Davidson. There, he was twice named Southern Conference Player of the Year and set the all-time scoring record for both Davidson and the Southern Conference. During his sophomore year, he also set the single-season NCAA record for three-pointers made.
Curry was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. During the 2012–13 season, he set the NBA record for three-pointers made in a regular season with 272. The following year, Curry and teammate Klay Thompson were nicknamed the "Splash Brothers" en route to setting the NBA record for combined three-pointers in a season with 484. In 2014–15, Curry broke his own record for three-pointers made in a regular season with 286. That year, he led the Warriors to their first NBA championship since 1975.

Since being in the NBA, Irving has achieved a number of accolades including being the 2011–12 NBA Rookie of the Year and the 2014 NBA All-Star game MVP.
Irving was born on March 23, 1992 in Melbourne, Australia. He is the son of Drederick and Elizabeth Irving, and the step-son of Shetellia Irving. He has an older sister, Asia, and a younger sister, London. His father, Drederick, played college basketball at Boston University alongside Shawn Teague and under coach Rick Pitino. After completing his college career, Irving's father moved to Australia to play professionally for the Bulleen Boomers. Irving lived in the Melbourne suburb of Kew before relocating to the United States when he was two years old. He has dual citizenship in the United States and Australia. After graduating, he was selected with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft by the Cavaliers. James led Cleveland to the franchise's first Finals appearance in 2007, losing to the San Antonio Spurs. In 2010, he left the Cavaliers for the Miami Heat in a highly publicized ESPN special titled The Decision. James played four seasons for the Heat, reaching the Finals all four years and winning back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013. In 2013, he led Miami on a 27-game winning streak, the third longest in league history. Following his final season with the Heat, James opted out of his contract and re-joined the Cavaliers. Behind his leadership, Cleveland advanced to the Finals before losing to the Golden State Warriors.

Steph Curry showed some of the top guards in the nation some shooting challenges that he likes to do while training at his SC30 Select Camp this past week. This was the second challenge and it really put into perspective just how amazing of a shooter Steph is. Steph went against Jordan McCabe, Jahvon Quinerly and Tyler Harris. He didn't warm up, he just stepped into the challenge and did this, hardly breaking a sweat. --------------------------------- Follow Us On Social! --------------------------------- INSTAGRAM: http://bit.ly/2jZYaAj Twitter: http://bit.ly/2jWBBdE Facebook: http://bit.ly/2kTRHW5 -------------------------------------------------- Check Out Our Other Channels: -------------------------------------------------- Main Channel: http://bit.ly/2jZTNWd BIL 2.0: http://bit.ly/2...

Llega Steph sin avisar,
Con fuego en las mejillas
Y olor a despedida
Justo a tiempo para confesar
Su secreto de ayer.
Sin pensar empieza a hablar
Y escapa entre sus risas
Una excusa no pedida,
Ahora todos querrán conocer
Por quién suspira Steph.
Bajo cero en la ciudad,
Bajo cero, qué felicidad,
Susurrándome en francés,
Vas a echar en falta a Steph.
Sale Steph a pasear,
Tan dulce que hasta duele,
Dando saltos en la nieve,
Recogiendo los rayos del sol
En sus guantes de piel.
Luz de gas, invierno gris,
Veo desde mi ventana
Una lágrima en su cara
Y la nieve que vuelve a caer
Despidiéndose.
Cuando marzo diga adiós,
La tristeza será para dos,
Por lo menos ya lo sé,
Voy a echar en falta a Steph.
