"They erase us, like we don't exist." A new series of video testimonies explores what it is like to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex (LGBTI) in the Western Balkans.
As part of my job, I get to travel across the Europe and Central Asian region and sometimes beyond. But as much as I love experiencing new cultures, traditions, languages or cuisines, unfortunately my travels aren’t always as exciting as they may sound.
These individuals have stood up and contributed to equality and justice, improving lives, preventing human suffering, and reminding us that human rights are universal values.
When Islom Qutfitdinov and his partner Nasrullo Inoyatov started the Imron Textile Group, they were the youngest entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan.
