IMPORTANT UPDATE:
We would like to get as many people as possible to call the president’s office to express support for Katie. The president claims they have only received a couple of calls in support thus far, so if you have a chance today or tomorrow, it would be awesome if we could overwhelm them with support for Katie. I’ve included some details below on the number to call and what to say. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.

Hi, my name is [______] and I am calling to urge you to stand in support of Katie Gregory.
Key Points:
-Katie should not be made an example of, simply to please a mob of white ethno-nationalists and their sympathizers.
-If QVCC values it’s minority community, they should support Katie
-QVCC President Drummer should publicly denounce white supremacy and Lucian Wintrich
-Katie should not be disciplined in any way by QVCC for peacefully protesting a bigot on her own time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Tuesday November 28, white supremacist Lucian Wintrich attacked and physically assaulted activist Katie Gregory during his talk at the University of Connecticut, after she removed papers from his lectern. Katie, like many others, was there to express opposition to Wintrich’s platform of white supremacy.
Since Wintrich publicly identified Katie, she has received death threats and faced a coordinated campaign to have her fired from her job at Quiebaug Valley Community College (QVCC), organized by a white, ethno-nationalist mob of Wintrich followers.
Katie now faces potential criminal charges and employment consequences because of the actions she took to oppose Wintrich’s bigotry.
Please donate to Katie’s legal defense fund if you stand in solidarity with her as Wintrich’s followers work to destroy her livelihood. Any funds not used to cover legal expenses will be donated to an organization fighting for racial and economic justice.
