Aelius Galenus or Claudius Galenus (/ɡəˈliːnəs/;Greek: Κλαύδιος Γαληνός; September 129 AD – c. 200/c. 216), often Anglicized as Galen and better known as Galen of Pergamon (/ˈɡeɪlən/), was a prominent Greek physician, surgeon and philosopher in the Roman empire. Arguably the most accomplished of all medical researchers of antiquity, Galen influenced the development of various scientific disciplines, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and neurology, as well as philosophy and logic.
The son of Aelius Nicon, a wealthy architect with scholarly interests, Galen received a comprehensive education that prepared him for a successful career as a physician and philosopher. Born in Pergamon (present-day Bergama, Turkey), Galen traveled extensively, exposing himself to a wide variety of medical theories and discoveries before settling in Rome, where he served prominent members of Roman society and eventually was given the position of personal physician to several emperors.
Beauty and the Beast (French: La Belle et la Bête) is a traditional fairy tale written by French novelist Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve and published in 1740 in La Jeune Américaine et les contes marins. Her lengthy version was abridged, rewritten, and published by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont in 1756 in Magasin des enfants to produce the version most commonly retold.
Variants of the tale are known across Europe. In France, for example, Zémire et Azor is an operatic version of the story, written by Marmontel and composed by Grétry in 1771, which had enormous success well into the 19th century; it is based on the second version of the tale. Amour pour amour, by Nivelle de la Chaussée, is a 1742 play based on Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve's version. According to researchers at universities in Durham and Lisbon, the story originated around 4,000 years ago.

This is me in the Philadelphia company of "Forbidden Broadway '91". I sing parodies of Man of La Mancha ("The Impossible Song"), Les Misérables (including "Bring It Down"), and Mandy Patinkin ("Somewhat Overindulgent"). John Freedson directed the show, and show creator Gerard Alessandrini helped cast it and was a frequent presence at rehearsals. The music director and accompanist is John Randall. The other cast members were Debra Cardona, Brian-Mark Conover, and Jill Geddes. Please excuse the wretched VHS video quality!

This is the 1996 Sesame Street policy trailer made for Sony/Loews movie theaters. I assembled this from three different sources, trying to make a version without the URL watermark and in the proper widescreen aspect ratio. The quality improves a lot around 34 seconds in, and stays that way for about 30 seconds. Enjoy!

I've corrected the highly distorted (squashed) video, and also intercut much higher quality amateur footage. Plus, no cheesy music or titles! The video shows Heather Dorniden falling and still winning the 600-meter race in the 2008 Big Ten Indoor Track Championships.
In response to a request from Mark Evanier, here's a scene from Night at the Opera with the movie's backwards dialog reversed.

On April 29, 1992, Michael Eisner was given a gold medal by the International Radio and Television Society at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan, with Regis Philbin and Kathie Lee Gifford hosting. The entertainment for the evening was a performance of "Beauty and the Beast: The Magic of the Music". It starred original "Beauty and the Beast" voices Paige O'Hara and Jerry Orbach, plus Lea Salonga from the then-upcoming "Aladdin". Filling out the cast were four performers from Walt Disney World: Andrea Canny, Darin De Paul, Galen Fott, and Paula Pell.
