In 10 years, we went from just 10 employees to 500. Our teams across the organization work hard to hire, develop and retain the best talent. POLITICOs bring diverse backgrounds and excellence in what they do; we hire passionate, hard-working, and strategic do-ers that create an agile workplace powered by creativity.

We recognize we wouldn’t be where we are today without the people who make POLITICO. We like to have fun and invite all to participate in employee-organized sports leagues and running club. Once a quarter, our Rosslyn HQ POLITICOs gather for an office-wide celebration. We have a stocked café with Starbucks & Compass coffee, and snacks for all tastes and dietary preferences. You can have Doritos and fresh fruit salad – it’s all about balance.

Internships and fellowships

For Students and Recent Grads

We’re excited to do our part in developing the prospective careers of students and recent graduates from diverse education experience and courses of study. We do so through our internship, fellowship, and POLITICO Journalism Institute programs. Our career development programs run year-round and in various departments across POLITICO, including business, advertising, and the newsroom.
