In physics, a fluid is a substance that continually deforms (flows) under an applied shear stress. Fluids are a subset of the phases of matter and include liquids, gases, plasmas and, to some extent, plastic solids. Fluids can be defined as substances that have zero shear modulus or in simpler terms a fluid is a substance which cannot resist any shear force applied to it.
Although the term "fluid" includes both the liquid and gas phases, in common usage, "fluid" is often used as a synonym for "liquid", with no implication that gas could also be present. For example, "brake fluid" is hydraulic oil and will not perform its required incompressible function if there is gas in it. This colloquial usage of the term is also common in medicine and in nutrition ("take plenty of fluids").
Liquids form a free surface (that is, a surface not created by the container) while gases do not. The distinction between solids and fluid is not entirely obvious. The distinction is made by evaluating the viscosity of the substance. Silly Putty can be considered to behave like a solid or a fluid, depending on the time period over which it is observed. It is best described as a viscoelastic fluid. There are many examples of substances proving difficult to classify. A particularly interesting one is pitch, as demonstrated in the pitch drop experiment currently running at the University of Queensland.
Crash Course (also known as Driving Academy) is a 1988 made for television teen film directed by Oz Scott.
Crash Course centers on a group of high schoolers in a driver’s education class; many for the second or third time. The recently divorced teacher, super-passive Larry Pearl, is on thin ice with the football fanatic principal, Principal Paulson, who is being pressured by the district superintendent to raise driver’s education completion rates or lose his coveted football program. With this in mind, Principal Paulson and his assistant, with a secret desire for his job, Abner Frasier, hire an outside driver’s education instructor with a very tough reputation, Edna Savage, aka E.W. Savage, who quickly takes control of the class.
The plot focuses mostly on the students and their interactions with their teachers and each other. In the beginning, Rico is the loner with just a few friends, Chadley is the bookish nerd with few friends who longs to be cool and also longs to be a part of Vanessa’s life who is the young, friendly and attractive girl who had to fake her mother’s signature on her driver’s education permission slip. Kichi is the hip-hop Asian kid who often raps what he has to say and constantly flirts with Maria, the rich foreign girl who thinks that the right-of-way on the roadways always goes to (insert awesomely fake foreign Latino accent) “my father’s limo”. Finally you have stereotypical football meathead J.J., who needs to pass his English exam to keep his eligibility and constantly asks out and gets rejected by Alice, the tomboy whose father owns “Santini & Son” Concrete Company. Alice is portrayed as being the “son” her father wanted.

Many techniques have been developed for the measurement of pressure and vacuum. Instruments used to measure pressure are called pressure gauges or vacuum gauges.
A manometer is an instrument that uses a column of liquid to measure pressure, although the term is currently often used to mean any pressure measuring instrument.
A vacuum gauge is used to measure the pressure in a vacuum—which is further divided into two subcategories: high and low vacuum (and sometimes ultra-high vacuum). The applicable pressure ranges of many of the techniques used to measure vacuums have an overlap. Hence, by combining several different types of gauge, it is possible to measure system pressure continuously from 10 mbar down to 10−11 mbar.
Everyday pressure measurements, such as for tire pressure, are usually made relative to ambient air pressure. In other cases measurements are made relative to a vacuum or to some other specific reference. When distinguishing between these zero references, the following terms are used:
Fluid mechanics is the branch of physics that studies the mechanics of fluids (liquids, gases, and plasmas) and the forces on them. Fluid mechanics has a wide range of applications, including for mechanical engineering, geophysics, astrophysics, and biology. Fluid mechanics can be divided into fluid statics, the study of fluids at rest; and fluid dynamics, the study of the effect of forces on fluid motion. It is a branch of continuum mechanics, a subject which models matter without using the information that it is made out of atoms; that is, it models matter from a macroscopic viewpoint rather than from microscopic. Fluid mechanics, especially fluid dynamics, is an active field of research with many problems that are partly or wholly unsolved. Fluid mechanics can be mathematically complex, and can best be solved by numerical methods, typically using computers. A modern discipline, called computational fluid dynamics (CFD), is devoted to this approach to solving fluid mechanics problems. Particle image velocimetry, an experimental method for visualizing and analyzing fluid flow, also takes advantage of the highly visual nature of fluid flow.

this gentleman presented to the ER with abdominal girth growing over a 2-3 week period. He has also notice his eyes to have taken a yellow discoloration and his urine was bright orange. Given his blood work results we determined that he has liver failure and the abdominal distention to be caused by fluid accumulation (ascites). Due to a high white blood cell count we decided to drain the fluid to make sure he did not have SBP (spontaneous bacterial peritonitis). As you can see in the procedure we drained close to 4 1Liter buckets of fluid from his abdomen. He felt so much better, and more importantly his fluid was clear of infection. Fundamentals of Physics (PHYS 200) The focus of the lecture is on fluid dynamics and statics. Different properties are discussed, such as density and pressure. Archimedes' Principle is introduced and demonstrated through a number of problems. The final topic of the lecture is Bernoulli's Equation. 00:00 - Chapter 1. Links for HDRIs are down below, with my other links :) Among my top most requested tutorials is a fluid simulation tutorial - so here it finally is! I teased this in the last video but here it is finally. This was a video I shot at the YouTube space London, and I was playing around with a different microphone setup to what I usualy use. Really sorry for the drop in quality when I (literally) dropped the mic - hopefully everything is still audible. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/MobyMotion Blog - http://www.mobymotionblog.com Twitter - https://twitter.com/MobyMotion Google+ - https://plus.google.com/+MobyMotion/posts Tumblr - http://m...

Let me tell you the story of a guy,
Who disappeared and no one knows why,
No one cared to say goodbye
Or she'd a tear drop from their eyes
He live in a cottage on the beach
Sat down and always smoked weed,
Played his guitar, always in a trance
Singing and making plans
Some would say a bit of a musical drone
But judgment restricts because he's always alone,
And that's the way it goes
This venom is called music, so soak it in ad use it.
To unleash the monster within
Never pick and choose it,
Let it flow through you like fluid, both outside and in
He always kept to himself,
Didn't care about love or his wealth
Guitar in hand, a strap on his back,
This venom had his life out of whack
Like a drug he injected sharp after flat,
As music slowly became the spine in his back,
That place he disappeared to, a place in the sky,
It's neither heaven or hell, a musical paradise
This venom is called music, so soak it in ad use it.
To unleash the monster within
Never pick and choose it,
