A group home is a private residence for children or young people who cannot live with their families, or people with chronic disabilities who may be adults or seniors. Typically there are no more than six residents and there is at least one trained caregiver there twenty-four hours a day. In some early "model programs", a house manager, night manager, weekend activity coordinator, and 4 part-time skill teachers were reported. Originally, the term group home referred to homes of 8 to 16 individuals, which was a state-mandated size during deinstitutionalization. Residential nursing facilities, also included in this article, may be as large in 2015 as 100 individuals, which is no longer the case in field such as intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The group homes highlighted in news articles in the late 1970s and 1980s, and by the late 2000s, have been cited internationally as a symbol or emblem of the community movement. Group homes were opened in local communities, often with site selection hearings, by state government and non-profit organizations including the international L'Arche, the local chapters of the Arc of the US (then Association for Retarded Children), United Cerebral Palsy local agencies, agencies belonging to state associations such as ACLAIMH (Association of Community Living Administrators in Mental Health), and NYSACRA (New York State Association of Community Residence Administrators) in New York, and new, non-profit organizations in the field of mental health. Group homes are one category in a broader array, spectrum, continuum, or services systems plan for residential community services or Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS).
Group Home is a hip hop duo, composed of members Lil' Dap (birth name James Heath) and Melachi the Nutcracker (birth name Jamal Felder). They came to prominence as members of the Gang Starr Foundation. Lil' Dap made his rhyming debut on Gang Starr's 1992 classic Daily Operation on the song "I'm the Man". Both members appeared on Gang Starr's critically acclaimed 1994 effort Hard to Earn, on the tracks "Speak Ya Clout" and "Words from the Nutcracker". In 1995, the group released its debut album, Livin' Proof. The album was very well received, mainly due to DJ Premier's advanced production work, described by Allmusic as "rhythmic masterpieces". A second album A Tear for the Ghetto was released in 1999, this time with only one track produced by DJ Premier.
Since then, little has been heard of the group. Lil' Dap released a solo single, "Brooklyn Zone", in 2001, and guested on several other releases. As of 2007, Lil' Dap is an independent artist, He released in 2008 solo album called I.A.Dap He was featured on Large Professor's 2008 album Main Source.
Jeffrey Lamar Williams, (born August 9, 1991), better known by his stage name Young Thug, is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He is perhaps best known for his commercial debut single "Stoner", as well as his collaborations with fellow Southern rappers, such as Rich Homie Quan, Birdman, Waka Flocka Flame, Gucci Mane, Young Scooter, Shy Glizzy, Migos, Travi$ Scott and T.I.. Young Thug signed a record deal with Gucci Mane's 1017 Brick Squad Records, an Asylum/Atlantic imprint, in early 2013. He gained major recognition in 2014, after being featured on a string of singles, including "About the Money" and "Lifestyle", the latter of which peaked at number 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Young Thug was born Jeffrey Lamar Williams on August 9, 1991, in Atlanta, Georgia; the second youngest of his ten siblings. Williams is from Sylvan Hills, a neighborhood in Atlanta (Zone 3).
After releasing the first three installments of his mixtape series I Came from Nothing throughout 2011 and 2012, Young Thug caught the attention of fellow Atlanta-based rapper Gucci Mane, who went on to sign Young Thug to his label 1017 Brick Squad Records, an Asylum/Atlantic imprint, in 2013. Thug subsequently released his first project on the label, his fourth mixtape, 1017 Thug. The mixtape was met with positive reviews from music critics, which noted it for its original style. 1017 Thug was included in a number of year-end lists for 2013, such as Pitchfork's Albums of the Year: Honorable Mention and Complex's The 50 Best Albums of 2013.FACT called it the best mixtape of 2013,Rolling Stone placed it at number five on their 10 Best Mixtapes of 2013 and The Guardian placed it among The Five Best Mixtapes of 2013.
Group may refer to:
A home is a dwelling-place used as a permanent or semi-permanent residence for an individual, family, household or several families in a tribe. It is often a house, apartment, or other building, or alternatively a mobile home, houseboat, yurt or any other portable shelter. Homes typically provide areas and facilities for sleeping, preparing food, eating and hygiene. Larger groups may live in a nursing home, children's home, convent or any similar institution. A homestead also includes agricultural land and facilities for domesticated animals. Where more secure dwellings are not available, people may live in the informal and sometimes illegal shacks found in slums and shanty towns. More generally, "home" may be considered to be a geographic area, such as a town, village, suburb, city, or country.
Transitory accommodation in a treatment facility for a few weeks is not normally considered permanent enough to replace a more stable location as 'home'. In 2005, 100 million people worldwide were estimated to be homeless.

Studies say approximately three percent of the general U.S. population is estimated to have a developmental disability. Most of these people live at home with their families. But for those who can't, there are variety of other options, such as group homes. Tala Hadavi, of VOA's Persian News Network visited one group home that boasts state-of-the-art equipment, along with the resources to help its residents live as near-normal a life as possible.

Each one of us needs to regularly ask ourselves what is using up the resources of our time, money, energy, and strength — and then determine whether God is really in those things or whether they’re just things we decided to invest in. Even things that worked for us in the past may need to be tweaked or adjusted — or even gently removed from our lives — so that we can go on with God, bearing good fruit that abides, remains, and brings Him glory. Being a pruned vine can at times make us look barren and small. But the fruit we’ll yield will be worth our temporary discomfort. God wants us to conclude our lives with branches that are loaded with fruit and that have fed a multitude! Chorus 2X: Lil Dap
Breaker 1-9, breaker 1-9 mayday
Me and my niggas starvin and we thirsty for the payday
We can get together, do whatever you want
Thugged out, Brook-lan style, east New York
{Lil Dap}
About 40 years from now, the meteor hits the earth
Countin my birth, puttin in work
Um, before we start to disolve, the dirt and disappear from here
Countin my fears, hopin theres a heaven upstairs
The moon's so bright, let's count a million stars tonight
Something ain't right, we got to leave the port to the light
I'm claimin my mic, in case we have to rip it tonight
'cause some people some understand, some people don't
It's a damn when they try to steal your flow
Don't you know, Group Home represents the ghetto
Brooklyn's own, have these niggas waivin there chrome
We'll splash your dome and leave your ass all alone
Chorus 2X
{Kai-Bee}
Something ain't right, let's follow the light, but keep it tight
And show these cats how we keep it raw but right
Follow my lead, proceed burnin my weed, smokin my La
Walkin through the streets of C.I., wondering why
Good people gotta die, got the future in my eye
I'm just chillin to get by
Thinkin about life, focusing on the mil
'cause life is illin much more then a ice grill
Here goes the realness, listen, lay your position
Constantly heads spittin lyrically ammunition
Keepin your brains spinnin like rims on an Expedition
Follow me on this mission, and swallow my exposition
Ladies and gentlemen, here's something new for your ears
Open your dutches and crack your beers
Rap music is something I live for
Only for that we go to war, war, war
Chorus 3X
Outro
Call for backup, we need help
They eatin alot of food out here,
they eatin alot of food out here
Call for backup, we need help
