Kegs by the Quay: Sun, suds and scenic views at Perth's newest beer festival

Summer sun, flowing suds and scenic views are guarantees when the inaugural Kegs by the Quay takes hold of Elizabeth Quay this weekend.

The new beer festival by the water from local event promoters JumpClimb (whose previous events include Beauvine and Noodle Palace) is on this Friday, Saturday and Sunday and features mostly WA breweries pouring beers in the idyllic surrounds.

The relaxed backyard vibe will allow vendors and visitors alike to sit back, sip down and enjoy all the elements that make for an ideal summer evening session under the Aussie sun.

Six of Perth's favourite food vendors will keep your stomach happy too, including Filos & Yiros and Mary Street Bakery.

The 20 breweries and cideries on show will offer more than 120 different beers in total, most of them from Western Australia.

Featuring a huge double-decker skydeck overlooking the city skyline and river landscape, a hanging lounge garden and live DJs, the first Kegs by the Quay will give you an unrivalled taste of a WA summer.
