China, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a sovereign state in East Asia. It is the world's most populous country, with a population of over 1.35 billion. The PRC is a one-party state governed by the Communist Party, with its seat of government in the capital city of Beijing. It exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces; five autonomous regions; four direct-controlled municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Chongqing); two mostly self-governing special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau); and claims sovereignty over Taiwan.
Covering approximately 9.6 million square kilometers, China is the world's second-largest country by land area, and either the third or fourth-largest by total area, depending on the method of measurement. China's landscape is vast and diverse, ranging from forest steppes and the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts in the arid north to subtropical forests in the wetter south. The Himalaya, Karakoram, Pamir and Tian Shan mountain ranges separate China from South and Central Asia. The Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, the third- and sixth-longest in the world, run from the Tibetan Plateau to the densely populated eastern seaboard. China's coastline along the Pacific Ocean is 14,500 kilometres (9,000 mi) long, and is bounded by the Bohai, Yellow, East and South China Seas.

North Korea ( listen), officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK; Chosŏn'gŭl: 조선민주주의인민공화국; hancha: 朝鮮民主主義人民共和國; MR: Chosŏn Minjujuŭi Inmin Konghwaguk), is a country in East Asia, in the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. The name Korea is derived from the Kingdom of Goguryeo, also spelled as Koryŏ. The capital and largest city is Pyongyang. North Korea shares a land border with China to the north and northwest, along the Amnok (Yalu) and Tumen rivers, and a small section of the Tumen River also forms a border with Russia to the northeast. The Korean Demilitarized Zone marks the boundary between North Korea and South Korea.
Korea was annexed by the Empire of Japan in 1910. After the Japanese surrender at the end of World War II in 1945, Korea was divided into two zones by the United States and the Soviet Union, with the north occupied by the Soviets and the south by the Americans. Negotiations on reunification failed, and in 1948 two separate governments were formed: the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the north, and the Republic of Korea in the south. An invasion initiated by North Korea led to the Korean War (1950–53). Although the Korean Armistice Agreement brought about a ceasefire, no official peace treaty was ever signed. Both states were accepted into the United Nations in 1991.

The United States of America (USA), commonly referred to as the United States (U.S.) or America, is a federal republic composed of 50 states, a federal district, five major territories and various possessions. The 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C., are in central North America between Canada and Mexico. The state of Alaska is in the northwestern part of North America and the state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific. The territories are scattered about the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. At 3.8 million square miles (9.842 million km2) and with over 320 million people, the country is the world's third or fourth-largest by total area and the third most populous. It is one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, the product of large-scale immigration from many countries. The geography and climate of the United States are also extremely diverse, and the country is home to a wide variety of wildlife.

We had the opportunity to go to China in November, 2015 - thanks to the U.S. Embassy and the Henan Province Cultural Dept. This is the first of a series of on-the-fly music videos we shot there. What NASA (through its Apollo Project) actually discovered on the Moon, beginning just seven years later, has now been resoundingly confirmed (if not yet "officially" announced ...) by the Chinese "Chang'e-3" unmanned lunar landing mission-- A stunning validation of not only the ultimate reality of "the Apollo Program" itself (against all those who have claimed, against overwhelming evidence, that "it never really happened ...") -- but what the Apollo astronauts actually found ... all those years ago -- which NASA then inexplicably, but relentlessly, suppressed: The still-glistening, crystalline remains of "an extraordinarily ancient, Type II lunar civilization." Pollution caused nine million deaths in 2015 - three times more than AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria combined - scientists said on Thursday, calling for governments in poor countries to act. India fared worst, with 2.5 million people dying early because of pollution, followed by China with 1.8 million deaths, according to The Lancet Commission on Pollution and Health, a two-year initiative seeking to highlight the issue. One in six of all deaths worldwide are caused by pollution, and the vast majority occur in developing countries, the report in The Lancet medical journal said.

As the crisis with North Korea rumbles along, RedState.com reports official Chinese academics are saying there's a significant movement within China’s ruling party thinking about a North Korea without Kim Jong Un in charge. Chinese officials have rejected America's efforts to share contingencies for war or regime collapse in Pyongyang for years. They've been suspicious of Washington’s intentions and fearful that such engagement could further alienate North Korea. But with the chances of war increasing daily, it might be time for China to “prepare for the worst.” Jia Qingguo, is the dean of the School of International Studies at China’s elite Peking University and a respected adviser to Chinese leaders. In the online East Asia Forum this week, the dean wrote, “When war becomes a real possib...

Travel video about destination China. China’s Imperial City is located in the centre of its ancient Middle Kingdom, a gigantic and inscrutable empire beyond the Great Wall. The Imperial City is entered through the Gates of Heavenly Peace. After seven years of construction, Ming Emperor Zhu Di moved into his newly-established palace complex in which over eight thousand people lived in almost a thousand rooms. The palace served as both a residential and governmental seat to the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. A stone’s throw away from the old Summer Palace is the Garden of Harmonious Unity that was the favourite garden of the Emperor’s household who retreated to its cool lakeside shores during the humid months of summer. Close to Badaling the Great Wall Of China extends majestically ...

He offers an entry to understanding the world's most populous nation, giving an integrated picture of modern Chinese society, culture, economy, politics, and art. Theres rain on my window
But Im thinking of you
Tears on my pillow
But I will come through
Josephine, Ill send you all my love
And every single step that Ill take
Ill take for you
My,josephine
Theres a storm on my radar
But I can still fly
Oh,and you are the reason
The blue in my sky
Josephine
A life without meaning
I was walking away
In the coldest of winters
Night becomes a day
Josephine, Ill send you all my love,
And every single step that Ill take
Ill take for you
My,josephine, Ill send you all my love, babe
Josephine, Ill send you all my love, babe
---and when Im far away (oh, so far away)
Ill send you all my love
