Midtown may refer to:
Drive-Thru Records, established in 1996, was a California-based record label owned by siblings Richard and Stefanie Reines. The label was partially responsible for popularizing the pop-punk/emo sound of the early to mid-2000s. After facing financial obstacles in getting their bands' music into stores, Drive-Thru entered into a distribution deal with MCA/Universal. MCA was dissolved and changed into Geffen Records. One of the clauses of that agreement was MCA/Geffen being able to sign any band of their choosing from Drive-Thru's roster.
Once the Universal deal ended, they signed a contract with independent label Sanctuary Records. Starting with a new roster, the label garnered a top 10 platinum hit with "Here In Your Arms" by Hellogoodbye. However, Sanctuary was on the verge of bankruptcy, and sold their assets to Universal Music. Drive-Thru Records got trapped in that deal, and were stuck with UMD, the catalog division of Universal. The label's last release was in 2008, when Richard and Stefanie Reines decided to concentrate on artist management and put Drive-Thru Records on indefinite hiatus.
A Movie is a 1958 experimental collage film in which Bruce Conner put together snippets of found footage, taken from B-movies, newsreels, soft-core pornography, novelty short films, and other sources, to a musical score featuring Respighi's Pines of Rome.
The film is associational, in which a number of narratively and spatially unrelated shots from a number of sources are edited together to evoke emotions and make thematic points. A Movie consists of many shots of animals and people moving quickly, precariously balanced objects, cars and people crashing, and, perhaps most importantly, violence and war. The word 'movie' keeps showing up on the screen.
In 1994, A Movie was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
Since 2013 the work is a part of permanent exposition in Centre Pompidou in Paris.

I took an awesome and very informative nine hour walking tour of New York City with New York Tour1 (www.newyorktour1.com) and our fantastic guide Bobby. It was 94 degrees with almost 100% humidity but that didn't stop us from having a great time in The Big Apple. This video is Part 1 and covers Midtown Manhattan including Times Square, the Diamond District, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Top of the Rock (with views of Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, and Freedom Tower), Radio City Music Hall, Bryant Park, New York Public Library, Grand Central Station, and the underground subway. Times Square, the most popular and busiest attraction in New York. It is also known as "The Crossroads of the World" or "The Center of the Universe". This place literally doesn't sleep. 24 hours of bright, massive electronic billboards and tourists continuously flocking to this iconic place. Times Square is also known for shopping, dining and of course, well known for best Broadway Shows. ====================================== First off, prayers for the victims of the tragic accident happened yesterday in Times Square where a car plowed into the pedestrian leaving a casualty and others injured and horrified. ====================================== ►►►Support me on Patreon◄◄◄ If you enjoy watching my videos and want to support my future projects, please visit my Patreon page: https://www...

Make my body motion, yeah the night is young
Open like the ocean, cold and numb
Dance until the sweat forms on your face
It won't take long to flush the poisons
I don't care where you come from
If it's awful there
All of us are alone
I forget where I come from
And I don't care
So what's wrong? I think too much
I don't want to fuck you, I don't want to touch you
I just want to fill you with regret
I've said it all before, it's pointless
I don't care where you come from
If it's awful there
All of us are alone
I forget where I come from
What I'm doing here
It's so redundant
I don't care where you come from
If it's awful there
All of us are alone
I forget where I come from
I don't care
Dance until the sweat forms on your face
