Shedden, Ontario can refer to:
Gordon Shedden (born 15 February 1979 in Edinburgh) is a British auto racing driver, who currently competes in the British Touring Car Championship for the Honda Yuasa Racing Team and is the current reigning BTCC champion having won the title for the second time in 2015. Shedden was the 2012 BTCC champion, joining John Cleland and Jim Clark as the only Scottish drivers to win the overall championship title.
In 1999, Shedden began racing in the Ford Fiesta Championship and won it the following season with 9 wins. He raced in the SEAT Cupra Championship, finishing as runner-up in 2003 and 4th in 2004. He also made a one-off appearance in the Production Class of the BTCC at Knockhill in 2001, and at the same circuit in the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain in 2005. He was entered in the 2002 BTCC by GR Motorsport in an Alfa Romeo, but this never reached the track. He has worked as Business Development Manager for the Knockhill circuit, alongside his wife Jillian. He has raced at Macau several times.
The Honda Civic Type R is the highest performance version of the Honda Civic made by Honda Motor Company of Japan. It features a lightened and stiffened body, specially tuned engine and upgraded brakes and chassis. Red is also used in the interior to give it a special sporting distinction and to separate it from other Honda models. In Japan, there is a one-make series of Honda Type R cars where privateers can purchase an off-road Type R and compete in a series championship which is a stepping stone for many aspiring racing drivers.
The first Civic to receive the 'Type R' name was based on the 6th-generation 'EK' Civic. The contributing base model was the JDM Civic 3-door hatchback called SiR, code named EK4. Like its big brother the Integra Type R DC2/JDM DB8, the Civic SiR's transformation into a Type R was achieved by working on the base model and improving it to Honda's idea of a car capable of high performance on the circuit.
Honda Type R models are special performance editions of their respective model families.
The design of Type R models was originally focused on race conditions, with an emphasis on minimizing weight, and maximizing performance potential (e.g. engine tuning, suspension set-up). Thus, Type R models were first conceived for racetracks. However, due to Honda's increased focus on their highly regarded VTEC engines, Type R vehicles were eventually designed for a much wider market.
Type R vehicles traditionally have a red Honda badge and Championship White paint as an option, as a tribute to their first winning F1 car. Honda's racing and F1 cars often feature a red Honda badge.
Honda produced a very limited number of NSX Type R models from 1992 to 1995 for Japan. Major changes include a more aggressive suspension and an extensive weight reduction to 1230 kg from the normal NSX weight of 1350 kg. The NSX Type R was track oriented and, to reduce weight, lacked sound deadening, audio, electric windows and air conditioning. The NSX Type R's role was fulfilled by the NSX Type S Zero in 1997.
Gordon Shedden produces a theatrical last gasp effort to clinch his second win of the 2016 BTCC season. Putting him back in contention for the following race at his home circuit Knockhill.

Thought I'd give it a shot! Originally didn't plan on sharing, but I got convinced! Let me know if ya like it :) may upload horizontally.. Recorded on my iPhone! No rights to this song.
After a wee break, I was excited to get back to recording a duet with the brilliant Stephen Cullen. I heard a recording of "Lay Me Down" by Sam Smith and John Legend a few weeks back and knew Stephen had to sing this song. I just adore his voice, and thought it would be a perfect fit. His pipes are something to behold! Pure ear candy! I hope you enjoy :) Thanks again to Mr Jeremy Kelly for making this happen! xo Big shout out to Gallery In The Attic for allowing us to use their space, and Lucky Jackson for being so dang talented. It was a treat to be able to record in a room full of her art. Thanks to all. xo http://www.youtube.com/user/Filmkelly http://www.facebook.com/KateSuhrMusic http://www.katesuhr.com/ https://stephenjamescullen.wordpress.com/ https://littleredhengallery.wordpress.c...
The Smalls, Nakogee Band and the Kashechewan Gospel Band. Moosonee Gospel Night 2016.
I had heard so many great things about Ryan Hancock before meeting him, and instantly understood why. He is the life of any party, incredibly funny, sincere, humble, and kind. He is a monster singer, and a wonderful actor to boot. It was such a treat getting to know Ryan during our run of Les Miserables, and I was so excited when he wanted to join in on a Duet. You can catch Ryan as Mark Cohen in AFA's upcoming production of RENT at Showplace Performance Center. Hope you enjoy his dreamy voice as much as I do! Introducing Ryan Hancock...aka Enjloras...aka ENJIE!! We are so grateful for Jon at Artspace Peterborough for allowing us to use the gallery. I had read a great article in The Arthur about Alex Bierk's current installation, and thought it would be the perfect place to record. We are...
Big thank you to Meg & Hannah for sharing their exquisite voices! I absolutely love singing with the two of these beauties. I am so grateful for Jeremy Kelly and his crazy recording skills! (Also thank you to Hannah's boyfriend Sean for lending a hand!) It was so lovely to be back at PCVS for this recording. I did a lot of growing here, and found it was the perfect place to record this touching song by Ingrid Michaelson. This piece is near and dear to my heart. I hope you like it!
Hell is getting closer,
don't leave no doors open
Will you save me with a raincoat?
Keeping all levels safe
And when dying feels ok,
I'll leave with a safe way
Will you save me with a raincoat?
Keep me away from the gate
Could you please go home
and leave me alone with my pain
Do I scare you when running away
Left alone in the dark where no angels stay
Caught in prison called time
Will you leave or wait from my sign?
And all I ever do is drain
All those memories who scare in the autumn rain
To bad I have a mortal spine
