Our entire way of life depends on electricity. So what would happen if it just stopped working? Well, one day, like a switch turned off, the world is suddenly thrust back into the dark ages. Planes fall from the sky, hospitals shut down, and communication is impossible. And without any modern technology, who can tell us why? Now, 15 years later, life is back to what it once was long before the industrial revolution: families living in quiet cul-de-sacs, and when the sun goes down lanterns and candles are lit. Life is slower and sweeter. Or is it? On the fringes of small farming communities, danger lurks. And a young woman's life is dramatically changed when a local militia arrives and kills her father, who mysteriously - and unbeknownst to her - had something to do with the blackout. This brutal encounter sets her and two unlikely companions off on a daring coming-of-age journey to find answers about the past in the hopes of reclaiming the future
NBC's Revolution TV Series Officially Cancelled!
Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video on NBC's Revolution tv series. If you didn't know now you know it has been officially cancelled after just 2 seasons on the network. The power has finally completely gone out on this series. Personally I am not all that surprised by it because the show was kind of all over the place and I didn't care for the characters all that much. Well if you were a fan of the series then my apologies go out to you for what I am about to say in this video but I have to be honest I really didn't like Revolution all that much. As always thanks for watching.

Giancarlo Esposito
Giancarlo Giuseppe Alessandro Esposito (born April 26, 1958) is an American actor and director. He is best known for his portrayal of Gustavo "Gus" Fring on the AMC series Breaking Bad, for which he won the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama award at the 2012 Critics' Choice Television Awards and was nominated for an Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series award at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards. He is well known for his roles in Spike Lee films such as Do the Right Thing, School Daze, and Mo' Better Blues. Other notable films include The Usual Suspects and King of New York. He has portrayed Sidney Glass/Magic Mirror on ABC's Once Upon a Time and Major Tom Neville in the NBC series Revolution.
Early life
Esposito was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, the son of an Italian father, Giovanni Esposito, and an African-American mother, Elizabeth Foster. His mother was an opera and nightclub singer from Alabama, and his father was a stagehand and carpenter from Naples. Esposito lived in Europe until the family settled in Manhattan when he was 6. He attended Elizabeth Seton College in New York and received a two-year degree in radio and television communications.

Elizabeth Mitchell
Elizabeth Mitchell (born March 27, 1970) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Dr. Juliet Burke on the ABC series Lost. She also had lead roles on the TV series V and Revolution, and recurred as the Snow Queen on Once Upon A Time in late 2014. Mitchell has starred in such films as The Santa Clause 2 & 3, Gia and The Purge: Election Year.
Early life
Mitchell was born in Los Angeles, California. Her stepfather, Joseph Day Mitchell, and mother, Josephine Marian Mitchell (née Jenkins), are lawyers based in Dallas. Mitchell and her mother moved to Dallas, Texas in 1970, where her mother married Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, a public magnet school. She is the eldest of three sisters, the others being Kristina Helen "Kristie" Mitchell (b. 1977), and Katherine Day "Kate" Mitchell (b. 1981).
She attended Stephens College, graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting, and then studied at the British American Drama Academy.

Revolution (TV series)
Revolution is an American post-apocalyptic science fiction television series that ran from September 17, 2012 until May 21, 2014; it was cancelled by NBC in May 2014. The show takes place in the post-apocalyptic near-future of the year 2027, 15 years after the start of a worldwide, permanent electrical-power blackout in 2012. Created by Eric Kripke and produced by J. J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions for the NBC network, it originally aired on Mondays at 10:00 pm (ET) doing well enough that NBC ordered a second season shortly after the first season finale.
Film director Jon Favreau directed the pilot episode. In October 2012, NBC picked it up for a full season of 22 episodes, which was later reduced to 20 episodes. Season 1 of the show was filmed in and around Wilmington, North Carolina. Many of the scenes were shot in historic downtown Wilmington and on the campus of the University of North Carolina Wilmington. On April 26, 2013, the series was renewed by NBC for a second season of 22 episodes to air in a new time slot of Wednesdays at 8 pm. Season 2 of Revolution was filmed in and around Bartlett and Granger, Texas. The second season premiere aired on September 25, 2013, and the finale aired on May 21, 2014.

Billy Burke (actor)
William Albert "Billy" Burke (born November 25, 1966) is an American actor. He is known for his role as Charlie Swan in Twilight and its sequels. He is also known for his role as Gary Matheson in the Season 2 of 24. In 2011, he played Cesaire in Red Riding Hood. In 2012, he was cast as the lead character, Miles Matheson, in the NBC science-fiction series Revolution. He currently stars in Zoo.
Life and career
Burke was born in Bellingham, Washington. He is married to actress Pollyanna Rose; they have a daughter named Bluesy LaRue Burke.
His television credits include roles in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (in the episode "Second Skin"), Party of Five, Gilmore Girls, Karen Sisco, Fringe, Monk, and The Closer (Season 4, episode 13, "Power of Attorney" playing an attorney, who was a rapist and murder suspect, Phillip Stroh). He played Detective Eric Box in the film Untraceable.
His motion picture credits include Jane Austen's Mafia!, Along Came a Spider, Final Jeopardy, Flashpoint and Ladder 49. His upcoming film credits include The Fallen, Forfeit, Fracture, and Retirement. He appeared in Feast of Love (2007), co-starring Selma Blair and Morgan Freeman.

Tracy Spiridakos
Tracy Spiridakos (born February 20, 1988) is a Canadian actress. She starred as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy series Majority Rules! from 2009–2010. She then starred as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson on the NBC post-apocalyptic science fiction series Revolution from 2012–2014, for which she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television. She played Annika Johnson on the A&E television drama Bates Motel.
Life and career
Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos. She has two brothers. The family moved to her father's hometown, Skala, Greece near Sparta, a few years after she was born, and returned to Canada in 1992 when she was about nine. She strongly identifies with her Greek heritage and speaks fluent Greek.
Spiridakos began acting in junior high school, and studied at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She graduated from Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting, and within weeks landed her first television role, a small part on Supernatural. She continued working in television, with walk-on roles on Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos appeared in the TV movie Goblin, and the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also had a recurring role on Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.

Revolution
Our entire way of life depends on electricity. So what would happen if it just stopped working? Well, one day, like a switch turned off, the world is suddenly thrust back into the dark ages. Planes fall from the sky, hospitals shut down, and communication is impossible. And without any modern technology, who can tell us why? Now, 15 years later, life is back to what it once was long before the industrial revolution: families living in quiet cul-de-sacs, and when the sun goes down lanterns and candles are lit. Life is slower and sweeter. Or is it? On the fringes of small farming communities, danger lurks. And a young woman's life is dramatically changed when a local militia arrives and kills her father, who mysteriously - and unbeknownst to her - had something to do with the blackout. This brutal encounter sets her and two unlikely companions off on a daring coming-of-age journey to find answers about the past in the hopes of reclaiming the future.

NBC's Revolution TV Series Officially Cancelled! Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video on NBC's Revolution tv series. If you didn't know now you know it has been officially cancelled after just 2 seasons on the network. The power has finally completely gone out on this series. Personally I am not all that surprised by it because the show was kind of all over the place and I didn't care for the characters all that much. NBC's Revolution TV Series Officially Cancelled!
Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video on NBC's Revolution tv series. If you didn't know now you know it has been officially cancelled after just 2 seasons on the network. The power has finally completely gone out on this series. Personally I am not all that surprised by it because the show was kind of all over the place and I didn't care for the characters all that much. Well if you were a fan of the series then my apologies go out to you for what I am about to say in this video but I have to be honest I really didn't like Revolution all that much. As always thanks for watching.

From a Walter Mosely story. Paris Minton (Giancarlo Esposito) heads to Los Angeles when he gets a letter from his old friend Fearless Jones (Bill Nunn). The plan is to help sexy, sultry nightclub siren Deletha (Cynda Williams) steal her singing contract from shady nightclub manager Johnny Truelove. Naturally, it's not gonna be easy - and Paris knows Deletha's a bucketful of trouble almost as soon as he makes her acquaintance. But even if a woman like Deletha ain't exactly worth it, a friend like Fearless is. This is episode seven of season two of "Fallen Angels" (released in Europe as "Perfect Crimes") and was directed by Jim McBride ("The Big Easy").

Cretto di Burri, Gibellina, Sicily. Photos: Stefano Esposito and Salvino Martinciglio. Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja and artist Giancarlo Neri (“The Writer”, Hampstead Heath, London 2005) teamed up on October 17th to create an opera of light and sound at Alberto Burri’s “Grande Cretto”, the largest permanent land artwork in Europe. The work was built on the ruins of the village of Gibelina between 1985 and 1989. Gibellina was totally destroyed by a violent earthquake in 1968. Robert cut together a collage of sound for 1968 and a method for it's delivery. 250 FM radios were placed around the 27.4 acre site in order to create a distributed audio network. Giancarlo Esposito is probably best known for playing Gustavo "Gus" Fring on Breaking Bad, the critically lauded AMC series that also stared Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman. When he was in the red chair, George played him a clip from another show where he and Paul shared the screen: the CBS drama Ghost Whisperer. “The Jungle Book” is an all-new, live-action epic adventure about Mowgli, a man-cub raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan, who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he’s ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera, and the free-spirited bear Baloo. Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who don’t exactly have his best interests at heart, including Kaa, a python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking King Louie, who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire.
Based on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless stories, “The Jungle Book” is inspired by Disney’s classic animated film, with an approach all its own. “We embrace the mythic qualities of Kipling in the more intense tonal aspects of the film,” says director Jon Favreau, “but we left room for what we remember from the ’67 film, and sought to maintain those charming Disneyesque aspects.”
Filmmakers employed up-to-the-minute technology to tell the story in a contemporary and immersive way, blending live-action performances with stunning CG environments and extraordinary photo-real animal characters that artists stylized to elevate the storytelling. “‘The Jungle Book’ is a universal coming-of-age story that everyone can relate to,” says producer Brigham Taylor. “Walt told the story through traditional cell animation and now we have the technology to actually bring these characters to life, make them photo-real and put a real kid into the environment in a seamless, believable way. The opportunity to be able to show that with today’s technology was irresistible.”
According to Favreau, story is king. “I think films have to offer an emotional experience for the audience,” says the director. “The spectacle won’t mean anything if they’re not engaged emotionally with the characters. Every story needs humanity, emotion and character development, as well as humor—presented in a way that doesn’t betray the stakes of the film. There are white-knuckle moments in the movie when you wonder, ‘What’s going to happen to this kid?’”
Raksha, a loving and fiercely protective mother wolf, cares deeply for all of her pups— including man-cub Mowgli, whom she adopts as one of her own when he’s abandoned in the jungle as an infant.
“We relied a little more on Kipling when it came to Raksha,” says Favreau. “The wolves have a much greater significance in his stories, which was important to me.”
Oscar® winner Lupita Nyong’o was called on to help bring Raksha to life. “I just love my character,” says Nyong’o. “She is the protector, the eternal mother. The word Raksha actually means protection in Hindi. I felt really connected to that, wanting to protect a son that isn’t originally hers but one she’s taken for her own.
“I really enjoyed preparing for this and learning about wolves and how social they are, how they stick together,” continues Nyong’o. “There’s such an order—a hierarchy—to a wolf pack. Mowgli tries to fit in with the other wolf pups. He has his challenges, but he is very much a part of the pack as far as Raksha is concerned.”
Taylor credits the actress with channeling her inner wolf. “Lupita just nailed the emotion of this character, which wasn’t really fleshed out in the animated version,” he says. “She intuitively captured that bond between an adoptive mother and her son.”
Adds Favreau, “She’s elegant and refined, but it’s more than that. She has an accessibility about her that was what we really wanted for Raksha. She feels like a mom, but she clearly comes from somewhere different than where Mowgli does.”
Nyong’o says she was familiar with the story when filmmakers approached her. “I grew up watching the Disney version and loved it so much,” she says. “As a little girl, my favorite character was Baloo. The magic of Mowgli’s story is that every child can identify with that feeling that you are the only one of your kind. I really identified with that idea. And going on an adventure with no adults is the ultimate childhood fantasy. I loved that this kid got to realize himself through this amazing adventure. It’s a wonderful coming-of- age story.” 7
Akela is the strong and hardened alpha-male wolf who shoulders the responsibility of the pack. He maintains order, enforces the law of the jungle and serves as a confident chief. He has mixed feelings about Mowgli.

Filmmakers employed up-to-the-minute technology to tell the story in a contemporary and immersive way, blending live-action performances with stunning CG environments and extraordinary photo-real animal characters that artists stylized to elevate the storytelling. “‘The Jungle Book’ is a universal coming-of-age story that everyone can relate to,” says producer Brigham Taylor. “Walt told the story through traditional cell animation and now we have the technology to actually bring these characters to life, make them photo-real and put a real kid into the environment in a seamless, believable way. The opportunity to be able to show that with today’s technology was irresistible.”
According to Favreau, story is king. “I think films have to offer an emotional experience for the audience,” says the director. “The spectacle won’t mean anything if they’re not engaged emotionally with the characters. Every story needs humanity, emotion and character development, as well as humor—presented in a way that doesn’t betray the stakes of the film. There are white-knuckle moments in the movie when you wonder, ‘What’s going to happen to this kid?’”
Raksha, a loving and fiercely protective mother wolf, cares deeply for all of her pups— including man-cub Mowgli, whom she adopts as one of her own when he’s abandoned in the jungle as an infant.
“We relied a little more on Kipling when it came to Raksha,” says Favreau. “The wolves have a much greater significance in his stories, which was important to me.”
Oscar® winner Lupita Nyong’o was called on to help bring Raksha to life. “I just love my character,” says Nyong’o. “She is the protector, the eternal mother. The word Raksha actually means protection in Hindi. I felt really connected to that, wanting to protect a son that isn’t originally hers but one she’s taken for her own.
“I really enjoyed preparing for this and learning about wolves and how social they are, how they stick together,” continues Nyong’o. “There’s such an order—a hierarchy—to a wolf pack. Mowgli tries to fit in with the other wolf pups. He has his challenges, but he is very much a part of the pack as far as Raksha is concerned.”
Taylor credits the actress with channeling her inner wolf. “Lupita just nailed the emotion of this character, which wasn’t really fleshed out in the animated version,” he says. “She intuitively captured that bond between an adoptive mother and her son.”
Adds Favreau, “She’s elegant and refined, but it’s more than that. She has an accessibility about her that was what we really wanted for Raksha. She feels like a mom, but she clearly comes from somewhere different than where Mowgli does.”
Nyong’o says she was familiar with the story when filmmakers approached her. “I grew up watching the Disney version and loved it so much,” she says. “As a little girl, my favorite character was Baloo. The magic of Mowgli’s story is that every child can identify with that feeling that you are the only one of your kind. I really identified with that idea. And going on an adventure with no adults is the ultimate childhood fantasy. I loved that this kid got to realize himself through this amazing adventure. It’s a wonderful coming-of- age story.” 7
Akela is the strong and hardened alpha-male wolf who shoulders the responsibility of the pack. He maintains order, enforces the law of the jungle and serves as a confident chief. He has mixed feelings about Mowgli.

Netflix is apparently working on a new TV series about Watergate ... Matt Charman, who co-wrote Steven Spielberg's 2015 thriller Bridge of Spies with the Coen Brothers, is lined up to write the series. There's no word on whether or not Clooney will star in the show, as he often but not always does for TV and film projects that he produces....
