Stop the Wall

The Stop the Wall Campaign’s aim to tear down the Wall is aligned with the Palestinian desire for liberation—for those of us inside and in exile, the young and old, those who have died, and those yet to be born.

We are a grassroots movement uniting the struggle of the popular committees in the villages, refugee camps and cities struggling against the Wall and the settlements and the efforts of Palestinian civil society.

Our call is to:

  • Stop the Wall
  • Dismantle parts already built
  • Return all lands confiscated for the Wall
  • Compensate for all losses.

The Latest From Palestine

Today, some 1000 people gathered in Nabi Saleh in support of the popular struggle of the village and to ask for the release of its prisoners, in particular 17 year old Ahed Tamimi, who has been taken to prison with her mother after a video that showed her a slapping a fully armed Israeli soldier went viral.

Yesterday, at a protest in front of Ofar prison, Palestinian activists Manal Tamimi got arrested by Israeli military. The protest was organised to call for the immediate release of Ahed, Nariman and Noor Tamimi from Nabi Saleh as well as Munthar Amira from Bethlehem. This makes Manal the fourth woman of the Tamimi family arrested over the last week while Ahed’s arrest has been extended today for another five days.

An analysis by Jamal Juma' on Trump's Jerusalem declaration, its impact and the alternative processes towards justice, freedom and equality for Palestinians that Trump yesterday has rendered almost unavoidable. A fresh thinking that can not only save Jerusalem but bring peace to the region.

The day of mobilisation called for in Palestine on Friday has seen mass demonstrations all over Palestine. During the day, Israeli repression was heavy and killed two Palestinians in Gaza and left over 800 people injured.

The day after Donald Trump’s ominous declaration arbitrarily recognising Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem and the city as Israel’s capital, in all major cities of the West Bank people poured out on the streets in protest. Israeli repression injured over 100 people.
