I point it out today to draw your attention to a must read post about the subcontracting of British military uniforms to factories in China. The Ministry of Defence is dispatching a delegation of officials to inspect the factories. Not as you might expect because of concerns about the conditions in which the low-wage labourers are working in, but because of complaints that the uniforms are sub-standard.
