She has had several other major television roles, including a starring role as Meera Malik in the NBC crime drama The Blacklist from 2013 to 2014.

She accepted and was cast as a chorus member in the 1994 musical Nimai presented at the Leicester Haymarket Theatre. Only a week into rehearsals, she was switched from the chorus to replace the lead actress, who had dropped out. Simons recalls that Nagra, a good singer and actress, also had a quality that raised her above other actresses which led him to select her as the new lead.

The series starred Sarah Jones, Jorge Garcia, Sam Neill, and Parminder Nagra.
The show was canceled by Fox on May 9, 2012.

(add annotations for subtitles!) Yep, it’s finally here! Thank you guy so much for being patient and supporting me! I hope it was worth the wait, especially when considering how long it is. But yeah, here you guys go! The make it or break it episode :’D I'm sorry I skipped out on some basic movements and blinks at the final talking scene OTL I was sick of the episode at that point, and exhausted by my shoulder. So I just decided some blinks don't make Alcatraz Alcatraz, so I skipped it ;A; hope you guys like it anyway! Alright, as many of you know, I had another health issue get in the way of the episode. I overworked my shoulder near the end, to the point where I couldn’t draw for weeks. The good news with this is that it wasn’t art related; it was from my actual job! As some of you know...
Yep, it's finally here! I hope you guys enjoy this one :'D I had a lot of trouble getting this finished OTL I'll explain after this, however. I just want to give a HUGE thank you to all those awesome people that stuck up for me, and were patient as they waited for this episode to be completed. I know it sucks to wait sometimes, but it also sucks when people keep telling you to hurry up! Anyway, I just want to thank everyone who helped out with this episode, including my amazing voice actors! Faus, Dean, and Copper all did fantastic jobs on their first episode, and I couldn't ask for anyone better to voice young Coby, Noah, and Tabitha. I'd also love to thank all my other voice actors, who are still dedicated to this project. I can't do this without you guys, so thank you so much! Last but...
I suppose I made you guys wait long enough, here is episode 3! It actually did not take me a very long time to make, about 2-3 months (After the Noah Extra episode). This is probably cause there was a lot of talking, and not too much movement. Well, then again, I do feel like I animated a lot of moving scenes... I am animating talking scenes differently now, which is a lot easier for me, and hopefully still nice to look at for you all. Did you guys also notice that my shading style changed? The way I do it now also makes it a ton easier to animate, and I don't have to worry about shading out of the lines! Admittedly, this Episode is not my favorite. It is kinda boring in my eyes... which is why I am REALLY excited to animate episode 4! It should be a lot more fun, but before that, keep y...
EDIT2: Comments have been re-enabled, please be more respectful. EDIT: alright guys, I'm seriously done with you all! You're driving me crazy with all your scourge comments. So, as of this point on, if I see ANY more comments with the word 'scourge' in them, they will be DELETED. NO questions asked. Got it? Now, PLEASE be done with it! IMPORTANT: Everyone, I am getting very irritated by all these comments saying how Dusk looks/acts/or even reminds you of Scourge. The point is, she is not, nor is she even close to Scourge. They are both completely different characters, so I would very much appreciate it if you guys would stop commenting about it at all. Thank you. -JP I do not own, nor do I claim to own ANY audio used in this video!! All the music was made by http://www.youtube.com/us...

Through the ceiling they really mean it
She's in Alcatraz
He don't walk it and she just talks it
But nothings left unsaid
Chorus
Bail out I said Bail out
Don't look down
Bail out
It's only the ground
Under my floor he's a Warlord
And she wants out
'Ñause when she talks it he distorts it
And the Highway's in my head
Chorus
And the Highway's in her head
Chorus
Bail out
Bail out
Bail out
