Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept Paypal as our method of payment online. This allows Paypal members the convenience of using their existing accounts to make purchases on the Luath Press website. Non-members are also able to use the Paypal system to make credit/debit card payments without being registered for Paypal, just follow the instructions by clicking on the "Don't have a Paypal account link" to complete payment as a Paypal guest.
Once you have completed your payment details on Paypal, you will be returned to the Luath Press website to confirm your order. Your order will not be placed until you have pressed "Place Order" and are presented with a confirmation page. A confirmation e-mail from both Paypal and Luath Press Limited should be recieved shortly after.
You may also order by credit/debit card via phone or mail (please do not e-mail credit card details, as email may not be secure).
Shipping And Handling
Delivery is free on orders over £15 in the UK, or over £30 overseas. For orders under this value, the following delivery charges apply:
UK: £1.00 per delivery address.
Overseas airmail: £3.50 for the first book to each delivery address; plus £1 for each additional book.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to process your order immediately. Any orders made through the Luath Press website are then passed on to our distributor HarperCollins, who deal with all the delivery and invoicing of Luath Press website orders. An approximate delivery time within the UK is 5 - 7 business days for most orders. International orders take approximately 10 - 14 working days and will be delivered by International Airmail. If you have any questions about a delivery please contact us via email or +44 (0)131 225 4326. We will pass any dispatch and delivery queries on to HarperCollins.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you and record your purchase as a due. We will email you when the book becomes available to confirm your order. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
Under UK tax law, books are zero-rated for VAT purposes. Prices for CDs are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Credit Card Security
All credit card details are handled securely by Paypal. Luath Press do not have access to these details, and if you have any queries about how your payment information is handled, then you should contact Paypal directly.
