Man in serious condition after he was 'dragged 25 metres' in hit and run

A man has been struck down and dragged 25 metres down the road in a hit and run in Rockingham this morning. 

The 45-year-old man was hit by a white vehicle on Regan Street at about 1am. 

It's believed the female driver got out of the car to speak to the injured man before getting back into the car and driving away.

WA Police confirmed they were treating the incident as a "hit and run". 

The injured man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital and remains in serious but stable condition. 

Traffic Enforcement Group officers are seeking information from the public in relation to the incident.
