Ermera, 24 May 2017 – Around 100 people gathered to celebrate the inauguration of the new water supply system commissioned by UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of State Administration (MSA) and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Environment (MCIE) and funded by the Global Environmental Facility (GEF).
A delegation comprised of representatives from the Government of Timor-Leste and UNDP visited Lao PDR on February 6-10, 2017 to exchange experiences on the planning and implementation of climate resilient rural infrastructure.

Dili, 23 Feb, 2017-- The Government of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and UNDP have signed a Cost-sharing Agreement for an amount of 125,000 US Dollars for the procurement of the indelible ink through Electoral Project- LEARN for upcoming national elections.
On the 21st and 22nd of June, UNDP and the Legal and Judicial Training Centre hosted a one-and-a-half-day workshop on the legal framework of the upcoming national parliamentary elections.
Dili, 22 May 2017 – The Global Conference on the 2030 Agenda: A Roadmap for SDGs in Fragile and Conflict-affected States” was officially opened today by the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste H.E. Mr. Francisco Guterres “Lu Olo”.
