Bronx Fire, City’s Worst in Decades, Kills at Least 12

  • At least 12 people were killed, including a 1-year-old child, when a fire tore through an apartment building near the Bronx Zoo.
  • Four others were critically injured, Mayor Bill de Blasio said, in the deadliest fire in New York City in more than a quarter-century.
