Average transaction prices for vehicles have since climbed above $31,000 from $28,050 in 2008, according to Edmunds.com.
Cotton prices are up more than 85% from a year ago, and clothing manufacturers and retailers have felt the spike.
McDonald's
Price increase: Prices of all menu items are up 1% or more.
Reason: Rising commodity costs.

Many people no longer carry cash or even checkbooks and are not able to make a purchase, for example, at the flea-market, yard sale, garage sale, thrift store or any type of place where something is being sold unless the business is accepting credit cards. Checks are no longer really something most businesses want to accept anyway because of bad checks. Even when people have cash on them, it is well known that people spend MORE money on products if they used a credit card rather than cash.
The low 2.75% commission is well worth it when considering the increase in sales and the money is directly deposited into your checking account within 1 to 2 business days.
Square is super easy to use on your phone or ipad. Any size business, from the home-based business, online business or work at home mom business, to the brick and mortar business, or other large business like a restaraunt, hair salon, thrift store, or other retail business. One of the type of business that really can benefit from using Square to accept credit cards as a form of payment are service type business such as handyman service, lawn service, snow removal, pool service, construction or any other service that takes place at the customer's home. Again, many people don't have cash on them and accepting credit card payments is a much safer option than accepting checks as a form of payement.

Keep in mind that fundraising is never easy. There aren't people out there who are just waiting to hand you cash and let you do whatever you want with that cash. Of course, your family may let you raise money from them that way, but professional investors or lenders will want to see serious rigor and effort from you during your fundraising efforts.
In this video I separate potential fundraising sources into four general buckets. Actually by the end of the video I end up with seven potential fundraising sources for your business. The last three are not directly what you would think of as a fundraising source, but it should be grouped with the more traditional fundraising sources because it is equally effective to raise money in many instances.

If you are looking to build wealth, there’s no better thing to get involved with than real estate. The problem for many is that It’s mental gravity to go small. If it’s worth doing 4 units, it’s worth doing 40 units. Grant talks about 3 things in this episode:
1.Know the product: You need to know and even love the product. Crime rate, insurance, worst case scenarios, NOI, what’s the break even, what are the properties around it? These are just some of the things you’ll need to really know before involving yourself in a deal.
2.Raise the money: Who’s your power base? Who’s going to pay you? It doesn’t take money to make money it takes courage. You have to raise money to go into bigger deals.
3.What’s the offer: What will you offer people? Grant offers 6% preferred return and then a 65/35. If you put 100K in a deal, he’d pay 6% a month in dividends plus 65% of whatever the return is. If you are offering someone a deal, maybe you’ll need to offer all the cash flow in year one. Get creative!
