Listening to our Land; Stories of Resilience
This publication tells stories of people’s work on the land. Through descriptions of their relationship with their land and their efforts to improve its quality through sustainable land management (SLM) practices, this book highlights the impacts of SLM projects supported by UNDP and funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in eight selected countries.
People Centred Development
This publication illustrates our work on the ground – through the achievements we’ve made over the years and the images and voices of Eritreans working with UNDP to foster sustainable development, encourage inclusive green growth and strengthen the nation’s institutions.

What we do
UNDP is the UN's global development network, an organization advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. We are on the ground in some 170 countries and territories, working with them on their own solutions to global and national development challenges. As they develop local capacity, they draw on the people of UNDP and our wide range of partners. UNDP has been supporting the Nepalese people in their struggle against poverty since it opened an in-country office in 1963.
