TAC-TV would like to say 'Thank You" to all those who have served our great country! We sit down with LAV to understand his time in service and his reasons for serving. Larry also sits down with Bravo Company owner and former United States Marine Corp member Paul Buffoni as they talk about their service and how the origins of Bravo Company! Lastly, TAC-TV is proud to announce our partnership with Feherty's Troops 1st and their new initiative, Operation Warrior Call. The crew interviewed Colonel Tim Karcher of the US Army and Staff Sergeant Glen Silva of the US Marines about their service, and what it means to support their brothers and sisters when they return home from the battle field. Below is more detail about the initiative: The wounds of war, both visible and invisible, sustained by the force through multiple deployments have been well documented. Many service members return from the battlefield facing a host of serious challenges. Once home, the possibility of becoming disconnected from their fellow Warriors can be acerbated simply by the challenges and demands of everyday life. Moving forward, the health of the Warrior community can be strengthened by Warriors staying connected to Warriors. In response, Feherty's Troops 1st is launching a new initiative: Operation Warrior Call. Continuing communications between "battle buddies" redeployed home may be essential to transition out of the stress endured down range. The comfort of knowing that a trusted friend who has also been "outside the wire" is a phone call away could mean the difference between a good decision and a bad decision on any given day. However, the call needs to be placed and the phone needs to be answered. Operation Warrior Call establishes a nationally designated day of awareness that beckons our brave Warriors to reach out to one another in hopes that reconnecting will facilitate HONEST dialogue, create a desire to stay in contact and for some Warriors help define a viable pathway forward. These three "pillars" should be advanced on this important day: 1. Make the Call: The best advocate for a Warrior is another Warrior and lessons learned are valuable assets. 2. Answer the Call: This is the best way to continue looking out for the Warriors on your left and right. 3. Be Honest: Situational Awareness can lead to a positive course of action. This initiative is being launched and managed by Feherty's Troops First Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Foundation will be driving an awareness program among Military leadership, both officers and NCOs, as well as the private sector.  Annual event scheduled for every Sunday before Thanksgiving Pushing the word out is the most important aspect of this initiative. The three simple pillars are easy to digest and can go a long way to help facilitate a Warrior's successful reintegration. For many, the stress of being deployed down range is not over when they arrive home. We need our nation's Warriors to have access to their most valuable resource -- each other. We are asking you to become an advocate for our nation's Warriors by assisting the Foundation with this important initiative.
