Lord Hans the G is finally here! (For those of you who are new to the Vlog we decided to name the car after my brother Hans as its a huge burly car who loves explore the wilderness (and then Hans thought that Hans "the Lord" sounded much better! haha)
Lord Hans is an 800HP G500 4x4 (estimated hp figure but not dynoed yet as we had a couple small tweaks left but I will post Dyno papers as soon as we get them) built by http://absolutemotors.nl in Holland. They are a group of crazy people who will make any ideas come to life no matter how crazy they are! So the biggest thank you goes out to the whole team!

All Mercedes-Benz G-Class models now offer up to 16 percent more power and up to 17 percent lower fuel consumption. The range includes the G 500 with a new, powerful 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine. All engines are compliant with the latest Euro 6 emissions standard. A new suspension setup together with more sensitive ESP control results in increased driving stability, safety and road comfort. The exterior and interior have also been given an upgrade. The exclusive AMG EDITION 463 and the G 500 4x42 are also being launched.
The new 8-cylinder powerplant in the G 500 can point to an exclusive heritage. It is based on the new generation of V8 engines developed by Mercedes-AMG that have already coaxed exceptional levels of performance out of the Mercedes-AMG GT and Mercedes-AMG C 63. For use in the G-Class, the V8 has been modified to deliver 422 horsepower (310 kW) with torque of 610 Nm. Other standout attributes include a spontaneous response and high tractive power
made possible, for example, by two turbochargers, which instead of being configured on the outside of the cylinder banks, are arranged between them in the V – the so-called "hot inside V". This layout allows a compact design, optimal response and low exhaust emissions.

Mercedes-Benz G-Class
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, sometimes called G-Wagen (short for Geländewagen, "cross country vehicle"), is a mid-size four-wheel drive luxury SUV manufactured by Magna Steyr (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch) in Austria and sold by Mercedes-Benz. In certain markets, it has been sold under the Puch name as Puch G. The G-wagen is characterized by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. It uses three fully locking differentials, one of the few vehicles to have such a feature. Despite the introduction of an intended replacement, the unibody SUV Mercedes-Benz GL-Class in 2006, the G-Class is still in production and is one of the longest produced Mercedes-Benz in Daimler's history, with a span of 35 years. Only the Unimog surpasses it.
The G-class was developed as a military vehicle from a suggestion by the Shah of Iran (at the time a significant Mercedes shareholder) to Mercedes and offered as a civilian version in 1979. In this role it is sometimes referred to as the "Wolf" and LAPV Enok. The Peugeot P4 is a variant made under license, with a Peugeot engine and different parts.

Meet Sergei and Ilya, father and son off-road enthusiasts. Sergei is an engineer by trade and for fun, they participate in the Nevada Trophy events; large-scale Geocaching searches across vast expanses of northern Nevada. So they needed the appropriate vehicle with which to roam the high desert in total comfort and luxury: a Mercedes G500. Purchased used, this 2003 G500 has been upgraded to full Expedition status by Sergei himself, and features sleeping quarters for 2, a refrigerator, exterior and interior lighting, an air compressor, gun rack, storage compartments, a secondary electrical system, HAM and CB Radios, and that's just on the inside! The stealth-looking G-Wagen also sports double-Fox shocks with upgraded ORC springs, skid plates, and 35" BFG Mud-Terrain tires. -

Expedition-Ready Mercedes G500 - (Off-Road) One Take
Meet Sergei and Ilya, father and son off-road enthusiasts. Sergei is an engineer by trade and for fun, they participate in the Nevada Trophy events; large-scale Geocaching searches across vast expanses of northern Nevada. So they needed the appropriate vehicle with which to roam the high desert in total comfort and luxury: a Mercedes G500. Purchased used, this 2003 G500 has been upgraded to full Expedition status by Sergei himself, and features sleeping quarters for 2, a refrigerator, exterior and interior lighting, an air compressor, gun rack, storage compartments, a secondary electrical system, HAM and CB Radios, and that's just on the inside! The stealth-looking G-Wagen also sports double-Fox shocks with upgraded ORC springs, skid plates, and 35" BFG Mud-Terrain tires.

The new 8-cylinder powerplant in the G 500 can point to an exclusive heritage. For use in the G-Class, the V8 has been modified to deliver 422 horsepower (310 kW) with torque of 610 Nm. Other standout attributes include a spontaneous response and high tractive power
made possible, for example, by two turbochargers, which instead of being configured on the outside of the cylinder banks, are arranged between them in the V – the so-called "hot inside V". This layout allows a compact design, optimal response and low exhaust emissions.

The exterior and interior have also been given an upgrade. The exclusive AMG EDITION 463 and the G 500 4x42 are also being launched.
The new 8-cylinder powerplant in the G 500 can point to an exclusive heritage. It is based on the new generation of V8 engines developed by Mercedes-AMG that have already coaxed exceptional levels of performance out of the Mercedes-AMG GT and Mercedes-AMG C 63. For use in the G-Class, the V8 has been modified to deliver 422 horsepower (310 kW) with torque of 610 Nm. Other standout attributes include a spontaneous response and high tractive power
made possible, for example, by two turbochargers, which instead of being configured on the outside of the cylinder banks, are arranged between them in the V – the so-called "hot inside V". This layout allows a compact design, optimal response and low exhaust emissions.
