Selena Gomez sure looked to have a serious case of baby fever on Monday.

The Fetish singer, 25, was beaming with joy as she was seen pushing her friend's baby stroller during a hike in Los Angeles.

This comes just as her on-again romance with Justin Bieber shows no signs of slowing down even though the union has reportedly bothered her mother Mandy Teefey.

Gomez, dressed in a black workout number with white sneakers, was beaming as she looked down at the little one.

With her blonde locks pulled up in a messy bun and hoop earrings paired with green-tinted sunglasses, the Bad Liar hitmaker was set for a good walk.

But all her attention was on the baby whose mother walked beside her.

The stroller was packed with a diaper bag and other necessities, but a look at the child was not available.

That same day she was by Bieber's side as he played hockey with friends at an LA rink.

On Tuesday TMZ reported that Selena's mother Mandy was was 'so worked up' about Bieber being back in Gomez's life that she was admitted to hospital last week.

It was added that Selena's family will 'never forgive him or accept [Justin]' for their complicated split in 2014.

A source told the website that Mandy was taken to a welfare center in Los Angeles for a health check 'at a family member's request.'

TMZ has previously reported that Justin is a 'huge trigger' for Selena's family and have reportedly said they intent to stay away from him.

The discussion reportedly became heated when Selena's mother learned how 'serious' the reunion was.

A representative for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

Justin and Selena began dating as teenagers in 2011 and spent three years in an on and off relationship.

They initially blamed work schedules for their first split in November 2012 and they briefly reconciled in April 2013, much to fans' delight.

But things turned more sinister when Justin admitted that trust was the issue in his relationship with Selena.

In 2015, Justin told ID magazine: 'It's like trust and all this other stuff that starts messing with your mind.
