'He has filmed his final scenes': EastEnders' Ted Reilly quits his role as Danny Dyer's son Johnny Carter after a year on the popular soap
He joined the long-running soap over a year ago.
But bosses have now confirmed that Ted Reilly has quit EastEnders.
The 26-year-old actor has decided to bow out of the show as the lovable Johnny Carter next year, but it's not yet known how he'll leave and whether the door will be left open for him to return one day.

'We can confirm Ted has finished filming with EastEnders and wish him all the best for the future,' bosses have now confirmed that Ted Reilly has quit EastEnders
A BBC spokeswoman told The Sun: 'We can confirm Ted has finished filming with EastEnders and wish him all the best for the future.'
MailOnline has contacted BBC representatives for comment.
It comes just weeks after Harry Reid - who plays mechanic Ben Mitchell - announced he was leaving the show over the festive season along with Jacqueline Jossa and Lorna Fitzgerald (Lauren and Abi Branning) in a dramatic storyline.

A source said recently of Harry's shock exit: 'Fans of Ben and the Mitchell family will be shocked to see his departure from the soap. He will star in a big storyline before the end of the year and be written out of the show as a result.'
Meanwhile, since taking on the role, Ted has been involved in some gripping plots - including being shot by Ted Murray (Christopher Timothy) after he was mistaken for an intruder, before the ambulance rushing him to hospital crashed into a tanker lorry.
This the latest blow to the Carter clan - who have been the focus of many storylines on the soap this year - as they've had to deal with Linda (Kellie Bright) being diagnosed with cancer, which led to her and her husband Mick (Danny Dyer) breaking up over the lies and secrets, and losing the beloved Queen Vic pub in a blackmail plot.
Earlier this month, the Willmot-Brown family revealed they own the famous pub, and handed the Carter family an eviction notice for the Queen Vic.
Mick then risked everything to protect his precious establishment by teaming up with mystery newcomer Aidan Maguire.
The landlord risked being thrown in prison to save his pub with Aidan's help - however the solution is believed to come with dire consequences over the festive season.
